Anime

Simply put, anime describes cartoons from Japan. As with Western cartoons, anime is widely varied and attracts its fair share of fanboys and fangirls. There is no one theme which connects all of anime; it can be slapstick, it can be emo, it can be gory, it can be pornographic, it can be sugary-sweet, it can be just about anything.
