Story

In a world based on fairy tales, Briar Rose is set to be a sleeping beatuy until her prince coems to awaken her. When he finally arrives after 100 years, however, he falls asleep in her lap! It is soon after this that she realizes her endings has been, for lack of a better word, "stolen." Thus Briar embarks on a journey to get her ending back, acompanied by others who have also had their endings stolen. However, there are those who would rather not get tehri endings back.

Characters

Briar Rose- (Fairy tale origin:Sleeping Beauty) Age: About 116 Briar was curse to sleep for one hundred years before her prince would come to awaken her. When he did finally arrive, before he was able to awaken her, he fell asleep in her lap. Though Briar's body remained asleep, her "mind" would come awake at night. The two forms are connected by a "red string of fate" and if it is broken, then Briar is done for. Using the help of the good fairies, Briar is able to make her mind form "tangible" so that she can go on a journey to reclaim her ending. Briar is more determined than stubborn, and once she's got her midn set on something, she won't stop. However, she believes in still keeping her dignity while fighting. She wields a giant axe called Rose Halberd.

Leopold DeSailles- (Fairy Tale Origin: The Tinderbox) Age:18 A young solider on his way home from war, Leopold happened upon a witch by a hollow tree. She requested his help-if he would go into the tree for her and retrieve a very important tinderbox, he could have all the riches inside. However, while Leopold was inside the tree, the witch got arrested and was taken away. So Leopold went from the tree with riches he had never before thought possible and the mysterious box. After Leopold had spent his riches and was back to a poor life, he found that the tinderbox could be used to call any or all of three mysterious dogs who guarded over the tree. Using their magic, he regained his fortune and used them to catch a glimpse of a princess. Un fortunately, he was arrested for it and was set to be executed. On the day of his execution, the princess and the king disappeared. Leopold escaped and resolved to find them in order to clear his name and receive his story ending. Despite having been a solider, Leopold is very laid back, yet still very practical. He likes to give nicknames to his friends, which might explain the poorly chosen names he gave to his dogs.

Coat of Rushes-(Fairy tale origin: Coat of Rushes) Age:?? Coat of Rushes was expelled from her fathers house over a silly misunderstanding. After wandering around the wood, she ran into a sorceress who cursed her. She thus gained the power to make any plant as sharp as a sword edge, but her left arm also uncontrollably morphs into wood. She was able to find work in a castle kitchen as a dish washer. She never gives out her real name, so the cooks and kitchen staff took to simply calling her "Coat of Rushes" after the coat she weaved for herself to keep warm. She is also the "mystery" princess that the local prince is dying to find after meeting her at a ball. Coat of Rushes won't reveal herself until her curse is lifted. Rapunzel tries to get her to fight and kill Briar and Leopold, but in the end she joins them on their journey. The group has taken to calling her simply "Rushes."

Rapunzel-(Fairy tale origin:Rapunzel) Age:17 Rapunzel is the main villain of Briar and the group. She claims that she never wants her ending to happen, and will prevent Briar from getting hers as well. She goes around trying to steal other endings as well, but it is not clear as to why.
