Stephanie Gibson was on her way up the ladder to stardom when a random act of violence stopped her dream dead in its tracks. Now three years later she finds herself, and her best friend Twitch, a bit on the dead side, working as a zombie hand for a voodoo preistess names Kellis. Now all of Kellis's enemies have decided to take out their fustrations on Steph. Gaining the assitance of a former assasin knows as Zhao-xia and a cat girl named Courtney, she won't die again without putting up a darn good fight. What's a poor zombie gotta do to get some peace in her after life? Find out for yourself and go read BLTL.

Useful Terms
I've had a few questions here and there about some of the things going on in BLTL since the original crash (things i had answered on their respective pages) so i figured I'd put up a few terms to help solve this.
- Hand(s)
Ok a "hand" is not the literal meaning of the word in the world of BLTL for the most part. A Hand is a servant for one who practices the dark arts (for instance Kellis). More specifically a hand is a zombie that has been brought back to the land of the living to help its master out. Every hand has a mark somewhere on its body to show who it belongs to.
- The Mark
When I speak of the "mark" is BLTL I am refering to a symbol on a zombie hand that shows who that particular hand belongs to. Both Twitch and Steph have a mark saying they are the property of Kellis. Steph's is on her forehead (hince the hat) and Twitch's is on his right butt cheek. Normally a hand would not have to hide such a mark but seeing as Kellis has MANY enemies in the world it is better for her hands to not show off their mark freely.
- Shadow Beasts
Shadow beasts are just what they sound like, demon type creatures made from shadows. They are extremely agressive and it takes a strong master to control them. Some people are born with this ability most have to learn it. Mostly these creatures act as a large source of power for shadowmancers.
- Shadowmancer
A shadowmancer is a person that can physically absorb shadow beasts and uses their powers for their own strength. This is a very rare talent however and no known person as ever been able to learn how to do this. Most shadowmancers spend their whole lives without knowing they possess this talent btu the few that do are extremely dangerous. Stephanie happens to be one of the lucky few making her all the more valuable to her master Kellis.
