Plot
Circle Arcadia: Knights of the Goddess, or simply Circle Arcadia, for short, is a webcomic created by Inemesit Imoh, aka prettysenshi2k6. The story is about three mortal women who were chosen by the Queen of Asengard, Arcadia, to be her personal knights. Their first assignment was to learn information about the Ruthal Orrthica, the prison that held the Queen of Drakesgard, Demona, for a good few centuries. However, the day that all three women assembled, she escaped her prison. Now, the Arcadian Knights must try and stop her from attacking the mortals with the Midgardian realm.

Background
--Origins
Gah. This is embarrassing. Circle Arcadia: KotG orginally started out as a ripoff of Josie and the Pussycats. I'm serious. It then went on to ripoff other cartoon, like Sailor Moon and the Powerpuff Girls. Then, in August of 2000, I gave up copying other people's stories and made one of my own. Thus, Sarii, Maddy and Lillie were born. The series started out as a book, called Book of Cosmos. *cough* Anyway, I wrote this series for about two years, until I discovered the beauty that was webcomics, in the Summer of 2003. I decided to revamp the girls and their stories for a new, MUCH BETTER story and make it a comic. Add my love for Norse mythology, and Circle Arcadia: KotG was born. I'm glad I did it too, for this comic is my second original work, and I think it's a damn good story.
--Glossary
Hopefully, the glossary will explain some of the things mentioned in the comic.
Asengard
Home of the Asenir gods, including Arcadia, Destiny, Fate.
Drakesgard
Home of the Drakegg gods, including Demona, Alfridrik.
Midgardia
Realm of the mortals.
Vanahaland
Home of the Vanir, the secondary gods, that serve the Asenir.
Skryillad
Lillie's hometown, located near modern day Estonia.
Destiny Stones
Stones given to those with special destinies.
Tristan City
The city of mecha(mechanical). The use of airships are common in Tristan City, along with other things, such as
skyscrapers and clocks. Basically, it's a very advance city.
Ruthal Orrthica
"Devil's Prison". The prison that held Madame Demona after the second Ragnarok ended. It recently opened and she was released.
Shores of Asengard
The outer region of Asengard, that spread to the Asenir ocean, which leads to Bilfrost, a rainbow bridge that leads to Asengard, and serves as the way back to Midgardia.
The Creation Myth
In the beginning, there was nothing. At all. Expect for Aura, who is creation. She was lonely, and decided to make a world for herself
so that she'd feel loved and have some company. So, she created "Earth", which included the realm of the giants, the elves, and the mortals. When she hugged
the Earth, it made the first law, that "Life must always come first,". Several millenia passed, and Aura grew tired of watching over the Earth all the time. So, she created the gods to do some of the work for her so that she could rest. Giving the gods a home as well, Heaven, Earth was renamed Midgardia. A few centuries of peace and happiness followed, until one evening, the Sun Goddess Aine was about to finish her shift watching the sky when Aura decided that the gods were able enough to watch over Earth without her, and passed away on the Shores of Asengard, creating the idea of Death.
Ragnarok
A term the gods created. It means "war". So far, there has been two Ragnaroks. The Great Seperation, and the Divine War.
First Ragnarok-"The Great Seperation"
When Aura died, she left the gods in charge of running Midgardia. However, the gods couldn't decide how to run things. Asengard was divided, and the division was mainly due to the god left in charge of the rest of the gods, Arcadia, and her younger sister, Demona, not agreeing with the other's techniques. They finally decided on the idea that the humans will decide how to live their lives, but when it came time to for them to die, the actions they made during life would determine where their souls will rest, for better
or for worse. Heaven was spilt into two seperate realms. Asengard, and Drakesgard. The divisions went their seperate ways after that. Connected, in a way, but not friends. They did how agree to a way of judging how they would decide where the humans went. They agreed on two seperate List of Actions, that included actions that all humans WILL do, for good or bad. Both lists had the same actions, but both Goddesses had their preferred actions on theirs noted. If a human did more actions on Arcadia's preferred list, then they went to Asengard. If the human did more actions on Demona's preferred list of actions, they went to Drakesgard.
Aura
Another word for soul, named after Aura when she died. When she died, all life was able to die, so, with the expection of the gods, Earth became a mortal realm and everyone within
Midgardia earned souls so that when they die, if they lived good, loyal lives, they would be rewarded with a death where they would be at peace, and return to Aura.
Mount Vggdrasill
A graveyard atop a mountain made as a place to honor fallen heroes on Earth.
The Light of Aura
A light that serves as the sun of Asengard. It was created when Aura passed away on the shores of Asengard. It now reminds the Asenir of her. The Light of Aura can only be seen in Asengard.
--Other Notes
The early pages of Circle Arcadia were not very good. They were bland and grey and bleh, and since then, it has been very inconsistant. I am trying to work on using a specfic style, but it will take time. Also, I make up alot of my work as I go along, so the plot is not without some gaps. Some characters in the beginning you might not see ever again, so please, don't mind these tiny things. My webcomic as for right now is just a hobby. The comic is based a lot of Norse Mythology, and it will show up more as the comic continues.
