Introduction
I've been gifted with an innate and infinite imagination, and at the same time cursed
without a proper ability to properly express that imagination. This I could write
about myself if I was feeling poetic or angsty as it is called nowadays.
In any case DeMach was born out of this imagination, however while he might have
died there as well if it hadn't been for my current job overlords who insisted I do
something while I was there.
Progress is slow, and nothing comes with the logic and common sense I've been brought up
with.
Even if you believe what I write here don't let that stop you from enjoying my work.
Plot summary
This is a story about a young man named DeMach. He is an anthropomorphic Lion Warrior
who has run away from his Pride with a backpack of which he doesn't exactly know the
contents and a some rudimentary knowledge about the world beyond the borders of the
forest.

General information: From the moment he had been weaned, he has been taught, trained
and indoctrinated in the way life is in the Pride. Just a few days before his flight
he'd be the staunchest defender of that way of life.
Aside from his younger sister he has no other family in the Pride anymore. His parents disappeared
shortly after his sister was born.

Occupation : Leader of the hunters and general decision maker of the Pride

General information : Leader of the Pride that DeMach belongs too. She's obsessed with
capturing DeMach for some purpose not currently known. She attained her leadership
through skill, cunning, experience and prowess. She has blood ties to almost all the
lion's in the Pride with excpetion of DeMach and his sister.
Name : Saerlag
Age : A few months younger than DeMach
Occupation : Huntress in training
Favorite weapon(s) : Bow and Spear
General Information : DeMach's Sister. Beyond the blood relation there is little
in common between the siblings. Saerlag was taken from her mother by the Queen and
cohorts to blackmail Demach and Saerlag's parents over a deal neither has any knowledge
about. Their parent's disappeared shortly after and Saerlag was raised by all the Pride's
available females and is at this point in time a proper lackey of the Queen.
Background
(Warning contains minor spoilers)
The world this story takes place in is earth about 5 to 10 centuries after a major disaster
wiped out the human population. This disaster also accelerated evolution in non-human
species, the how and why of this is unknown at the present time.
