The Story
After one castle siege too many, Xara's solitary life is turned upside when her own elven grand parents best her in battle! Now she finds herself living under the same roof! Who are these people? What do they want?
Characters
Xara Kuroma
Once a moody and mean dragoness, Xara has found solace in that all her troubles where due to being overly power hungery and greedy. Even her only companion, Carla, a dependant vampiress, feared her. Yet the smallest kindness paid to Carla was returned 1000 fold when Carla showed up in the nick of time and saved Xara from making a fatal step. Now put in touch with her previously unknown elven side, Xara has to learn to cope with a dizzying array of emotion. But the road to redemption is a rough one and the easiest steps have been taken. Can Xara stay the course? Tune in and find out.
Carla Nightwing
Blind from birth, Carla found the benefits of vampirism too great to resist. At first she could control her hunger but like all addictions this one got out of control and eventually she found herself hated and hunted. Only a chance encounter with Xara saved her from a grisly end.
At first Xara looked like a food court dream come true. A dragoness willing to be bitten. Little did Carla know that this dragon's blood was too hot to handle! The two entered into a self serving alliance. While it is true that Xara attempted to enslave Carla for indulgent purposes, their unhealthy symbiosis eventually gave way to a tentative friendship.
At the lowest point in Xara's life, Carla intervened just in time saving Xara from a very bad decision. Since that time Xara has held Carla in very high esteem.
Laurence Southwell
Xara's elven grand father. He orchestrated Xara's return the the family. But the plan nearly failed. Because of this, Xara is under the dorment spell of the evil sorcerer Arai. Laurence is doing his best to bring his grand daughter back into the family fold.
Triona Southwell
Xara's grand mother. Her origins are still somewhat a mystery. She seems to have had some past run in with the law. Non-magical herself, Triona is a Martial Arts expert. She is currently training Carla.
