Of Lucas

Devan Lucas has always been a trouble maker and most likely always will be. Coming from a noble family from the Echzeon captial city Leonando, Devan was pushed to join the army by his father. Lucas has a problem with looking down on the people he feels are below his status in the the world. This leads him to be at odds with most of his comrades in battle, as he usually refuses to follow anyone that in his mind is a common person or barbarian (despite if that person is better suited to lead than he is). This is a habit that General Forsythe is determend to break.

While in the small town of Edion, Lucas leads his friends Dutt and Evans on a bit of a rampage, terrorizing the inn owner, Bill, and his daughter Mel. This little fiasco was ended easily by Vanessa. Now he holds a bit of a grudge against her for it.

Fighting Style

Lucas was taught to fence at a very young age by some of the top fencers in Echzeon. He learned a great deal whenever his ego and temper didn't get in the way. In the rare event Lucas is completely focused, he can go toe to toe with just about anyone. He, however, still hasn't completely mastered his sword work's fluidity, leading to problems against certain fighting styles. Even his teachers tell him his pig-headedness will someday be his downfall.
