Of Warren

Unlike most of the current recruits for the Echzeon army, Warren has been a warrior for most of his adult life. Not much is known about where he is from originally but he was discovered by Forsythe while he was making his living as a gladiator. He decides to join Forsythe for the simple fact he has grown tired of pointless fighting and killing and wanted something new to do with his life. This all took place about 2 years before this current recruiting assignment and Warren merely follows Forsythe to give his opinion of the new recruits.

Warren's biggest moment in the recruiting process was the sparing session against Vanessa, a fight that pushes him harder than anything has in a long time and also makes him instantly interested in Vanessa out of sheer respect of her talent. Warren however does not feel this way about everybody in the fresh crop of recruits. This mainly applies to Lucas as he feels the boy could stand to learn some humility and he wouldn't mind being the one to beat it into him.

Fighting Style

Warren may not be the fastest man in battle but if you get hit with his axe you probably won't be getting up any time soon. Warren's style is similar to that of Vanessa but due to his size he can not move quite as fast as she can. Due to this factor Warren is more likely to be on the defensive rather than the offensive luring his opponent into a false sense of security.

Warren has no real fighting philosophy to speak of due to the fact that as a gladiator he has had to adapt his style in ways he wouldn't normally have to. Since no one is exactly sure when Warren became a gladiator it is possible that this could be a result of him never being formally trained in the ways of combat. Warren has no problem with killing people but only if it is in battle. He is also always looking for worthy challengers to test his skills against as well as make himself a better warrior at the same time.
