Gemutations: Plague

The plot is actually a sequel to a book I published last year called "Gemutations:Mercenaries and Angels."

Plague continues the adventures of David "Tigershark" Scott, and Angelina Cortez. They are both gemues - genetically mutated humans - trying to get by in a world that treats their kind with disdain and violence.

They are also members of the Gemue Allegiance, an organization working toward equality for the new genus of human kind. They have made progress over the past five years, but it is slow arduous work, met by resistance from every level of society.

That work and all the progress they have made threatens to be destroyed when humans start contracting a virus. The virus isn't something so innocuous as a cold, and even worse than the worst strain of the flu - this virus is borne of carrier gemues, and works to make the victim a gemue as well.

Only instead of cleanly changing its new hosts, it kills them, in horrible flesh twisting ways. Even the survivors aren't pretty - to top it off, they carry the virus on them and must be isolated even from their loved ones.

In an effort to stop the exposures before the disease becomes public knowledge, Tiger and Angel run across Tom and Steve Martin. Using the brother's help they try to avert a war between the two genus of humans.
