Plot: Essence City is the worlds only corporately governed city/state. 12 years ago marked the end of a blood filled conflict between the government and the allied employee union. Now acts of seemingly random violence have investigators questioning if a ghost from their past has come back to kill them.

Characters Moe Kakashi: 37 years old and former colonel of the essence city military police. Dead under mysterious circumstances her ego was reanimated 12 years later by an unknown entity into the Jane Doe of an adolescent girl. Now bent on revenge Kakashi could become the kind of terrorist she once would have shot dead.

Leo Ralph: A Major in the military police during the urban war and Col Kakashi's subordinate. He may have had somthing to do with Kakashi's death 12 years ago. His distaste for his superiors vices and his fierce loyalty to morals make Leo a bit of a wildcard as to what should be done and what has to be done to defend Essence city.

Colin Tinman: Not much is known about Tinman before the urban war. He became a regional commander and later the police commissioner for the city after the war. He was Kakashi's superior officer and may be her child's father (see: Nina). Tinman is stoic and often violent when things don't go according to plan. His body is mostly mechanical due to an accident he refuses to comment on.

Kari Rorsach: A black market weapons dealer before the urban war now a thug for hire currently recruiting for an insurgency. He knew Kakashi before her police days when she was a lower city B & E specialist and prostitute. His loyalties lie with who pays him the most and as a result he is very cowardly when it comes to confrontations.

Dorothy: Shortly after the end of the urban war the corporation was overtaken by Dorothy (some say against the board of directors will). Once an influential human rights advocate this move was considered a victory for the defeated union contingent, now facing crippling poverty. Dorothy feigns innocence but is one of the most talented and manipulating figures in the city. Her power borders on absolute.

Nina: the 16 year old daughter of Moe Kakashi born before the end of the urban war. Nina was raised by Tinman possibly because he may be her biological father. Nina is an average teenager without the homicidal impulses or the combat skills of the rest of the people around her. She does however posses her mothers addiction to Ego transfers and hard parting.
