Magick is a graphic Adult (NC-17) webcomic which is written and drawn by ~DR, artist for Comic:The Geek Way, his older, cleaner, and more Geek-Gag oriented webcomic. It describes a world where magic exsists in it's purest form (hence the spelling "magick"), and Magi are able to control Mana of the six different Elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Shadow, and Light). Every Magi has a Familiar, an anthromorphic animal companion that can be any animal: Real or Mythical.

Plot
Magick is about Wic as he tries to learn more about his grandfather (Who he was named after), and through his time as a Magi, learns more about himself.
Chapter 1: Summoning Trouble Part 1
Someone or something is attacking students on College Grounds. So far all the victims have been female. Their clothes are in shreds and they are camatose, drained of all except for basic energy. Wiccard Lyle Blare is riding his bike home as he passes one such case. The police and athorities are at a loss, and the female population is afraid to leave the dorms.
As he returns home, Wic finds that the mail has arrived early. A package with no return address is sitting on his doorstep. Taking it inside and tearing the wrapping off he finds that it's a hand-written, leather-bound book with his name on it. He opens the book and a note falls out that appears to be from someone in his family. The note is signed: Wiccard Blare.
Throwing caution to the wind, Wic reads the first page of the book and inadvertantly summons a creature from the journal that proceeds to kiss and grope him. After kissing him, she unzipps his pants and proceeds to go down on him. When confronted with who she is, the woman says that Wic is her Master and then sucks on him even harder and faster. This process starts to affect Wic, even as the woman envelops his erection with her breasts and continues to tease and suck him. Trying to hold his climax, Wic notices that he's feeling hot with every passing second. When he can't hold back anymore, the climax covers the woman's face and breasts. As he tries to comprehend what happens he promptly passes out.
Out cold, Wic has a nightmare, apparently a re-accuring one involving a fire when he was younger. As a child Wic runs to avoid the fire before running into a dead end. The flames start to surround him and rip the world appart, leaving him to fall into a sea of flames. Somehow he's saved by a nude woman who wraps him in her arms and tells him "You're safe now..."
Starting to wake up, Wic finds that the woman who was sucking his erection is now riding his errection. Along with her tail and odd ears, she now has a pair of leathery bat-like wings. Denying what he sees, Wic claims that he "still has to be asleep."

- Personality: Optimistic, a little over-zealous, and has the tendency to jump to conclusions. When he doesn't know something he'll ask, and sit down and listen so that he understands or can finally solve a probelm.

- History: Wic is named after his Grandfather, a man who was also known as Wiccard Blare. Their names are derived from Wiccan, an old religion that belived in magick and practiced in rituals for the betterment of all creatures. Wic has seen most of the country in his life, moving from place to place with the rest of his family.
When he was around 8 years old, one of his family's homes caught fire and he was trapped. To this day he still doesn't know how he escaped or what started the fire. This has left him with a fascination with the Element, as well as nightmares that'll hit him from time to time. As he grew, he found his talent for drawing and began to practice this skill to a high point. He started attending college and is currently in his sophmore year.
He started practicing Aikido, a Japanese Martial Art that combines Several other types of martial arts, just recently. Just as his skills at drawing have increased, the Sensei seemed so impressed with the ability he put forth that he allowed Wic to use his gi for the testing for 6th Kyu (First Degree Yellow). Wic is taking good care of his Sensei's Gi and treats it with the upmost respect.
Just recently, he's been more cautious from the attacks happening around campus, and has tried to keep his ears and eyes open. Even though he lives two blocks away from school, he still considers himself lucky he got an apartment so close to campus. Despite the recent attacks.

Brianna
- Name: Brianna
- Sex: Female
- Animal Type: Dragon
- Personality: While she acts a bit naivé, Brianna is actually much more intelligent than she lets on. She cares much for Wic and their allies, even to the point of throwing herself in harms way to protect him. Her love for Wic is genuine and Wic does return the affection, although at first he looks at her more as a pet. Later on he grows to care for her as a person and not an animal.
- Description: Brianna is an anthromorphic humanoid dragon Familiar. Her humanoid form is that of an attractive female with webed ears, slitted golden eyes, and a long tail with scales that start between her shoulder blades. A row of small pointing spines follows the path of her spine down toards the end of her tail. At the end of her tail is a cache of spikes that can prove useful in self defence but not all that effective. With more Mana at her disposal, Brainna can manifest a pair of wings that sprout from her shoulder blades. These allow her to float more easily and follow Wic, and are retractable into her body so she doesn't take up too much space in the cramped apartment. Her other forms include a much smaller Wyvern-like Dragon form that normal humans mistake for a bird, and her full Draconic form is truely a fright to behold.

- History: Brianna's history isn't well known, and she doesn't talk about it much. It's clear that she's been a part of the Blare family for at least two generations. She doesn't speak about her former Masters, although it isn't uncommon for a Familiar's memory to be erased after an owner decides to seal them. In those cases the Familiar is as clueless as the new Magi. Brianna seems to have still retained memories of the rules of Magick, that's 'if' her memory was wipped.

Magick is based on a combination of CPUBibi, Bible Black, and classic magick lore.
Comic Layout
Cover
Every Chapter starts with a color cover, just like it was a monthly comic-book. The cover usually shows the characters in situations that may or may not happen in the chapter, but will have some significance within the greater plot. Every cover will have the Artist's signature and be in as much detail as ~DR can muster.
First Three Pages
The first three pages of every Chapter (starting with Chapter two) will be in full color for the web-comic Hentai fan's viewing pleasure.
Rest of the Story...
The rest of the comic is colored in black-and-white using Photoshop 7.0, using various new techniques that ~DR manages to come up with. The length varies on what all ~DR is trying to put into the Chapter as far as his script goes. Yes. There is an actual Script.
Magick Omake
The Magick Omake features the fact that there are instances where gags can happen in the writing of the main story. Here ~DR shows off the funny without pushing too much into the main plot.

When ~DR's too lazy to do much else than play video games, homework, and working at his job, he'll post some random art for the hungry masses to munch on.

How he does it
So how DOES ~DR do Magick? Well, the answer isn't really that simple, and it may be his downfall in the long run.
For starters ~DR writes out the script at least two chapters before hand. This ensures that he can space everything out between pages and keep the story interesting, (at least in his eyes). From that he takes an 8.5x11 piece of paper, and begins dividing the paper into frames. Within those frames he draws the characters, backgrounds, situations, and other things that need to be in the comic. Afterwards, he inks the characters in, erases the pencil, scans the comic, and begins the long and tedious process of cleaning it up using Photoshop 7.0. This process can take him anywhere from 5 to 10 hours, depending on how distracted he is at the moment.
Because of his time spending at work, school, club organization, and other distractions, ~DR's ability to work on Magick will vary from time to time. Given enough time and fan-base, he'll try to keep the comic going for as long as he has internet acess.
