Plot
The plot centers around the life of a group of assassins (Mactabilis Crux), ranging from ages 17 to 28, working for an organization (The Council of Aetrenus) bent on "maintaining balance" in modern civilization. Whatever THAT means...
Tragedy, comedy and mayhem all ensue as the intricate workings of the assassins’ lives unfold.

The first chapter introduces you to a few of the main characters in the midst of a mission gone horrible array and ends in tragedy.

Chapter two is basically a more detailed introduction to the characters and their background.

In fact, there is very little that Az really does care about but perhaps that rooted from the fact he was born into the life of a trained killer. |
| Best friend: Natiel | Earth | 19 | Blue hair, dark green eyes | Natiel is second youngest as well as second in command, having almost as many years of assassin training as her best friend. However, in spite of her history of violence, Natiel is a very good-natured person who cares a lot about life and all that it entails. The only reasons she remains in the business is for a lack of the ability to get out with her life and her friends. |
