Vlad Damien's comics
Vlad Damien's Comics hosts many comics, which vary from serious to funny, with a good dose of weird. Rather than to have his work dispersed across the Web, Vlad Damien (Patrick Langlois' incredibly cheesy nom de plume) decided to gather all of his comics in one spot, for his readers' convenience.
The webpage opened on September 7th, 2001, as it updated with its very first My Life with Thrill Kill Karl strip and In the Mind of Vlad Damien strip.
A complete list of the comics (actual and to come) can be found below.
Thrill Kill Karl trilogy
My Life with Thrill Kill Karl
Karl Kishiro is a young misanthropist. After a grueling day at work, he comes home to find a mysterious man sitting on the stairs... A mature comic with adult situations. Viewer discretion is advised.
Story

The story is separated in three parts: acknowledgement (Layer 1 - My Life), ascension (Layer 2 - Thrill Kill) and comprehension (Layer 3 - Karl).
In the first part, Karl describes his condition as a misanthrope. The general setting is established, breathing life into the characters. Karl's mother, Carol, offers him a job at a daycare center as a condition to stay under his parents' roof. While he accepts half-heartedly, he finds himself becoming his boss' boy-toy. However, it is not without reason...
In the second part, Karl gives in to his darker side for having trusted so innocently. He “befriends” Lydia, a young patron of the daycare center for rich kids, and takes her along for the ride.

Facts and trivia
- The webcomic is now available in paper format. It amounts to 160 pages, and includes the original webcomic (with minor edits to the text - cleaning up typos mostly), guest art which is available only in the comic book, and explanatory texts by the author, as well as a special picture by the author. The comic's first print is limited to 100 copies.
- MLWTKK was developed with the help of its readers. While the author had the main storyline down, his readers' input was valuable to the evolution of the story, adding here, subtracting there.
- Avery's look is actually based on a real person. She happens to be a friend of the author's (and she's nice, unlike the webcomic Avery).
Pater Noster
A follow-up to My Life with Thrill Kill Karl. Karl's offspring are looking for their father, but might be in for more than they bargained. A mature comic with adult situations. Viewer discretion is advised.
