Lady Quicksilver has the ability to escape from most any situation "like mercury". She is immune to the effects of mercury in all its forms and frequently uses the metal in her arsenal. She is a criminal mastermind and perhaps her greatest power is that she won War's heart, gaining a powerful ally in the process.
Description and History of Lady Quicksilver
Once an intrepid ace reporter, Mercury Hat was involved in an accident at the local thermometer factory when a barrel of mercury mixed with suspicious chemicals fell on her. She was found by War, who nursed her back to health. Instead of dying, the strange combination of chemicals and metal granted Mercury her mysterious immunity and she felt a drive to mastermind crimes. War, at the time, was in need of someone to help him plot and Mercury Hat agreed to help him. The two were such a team that they eventually became husband and wife despite the Giga Squad Team's attempted intervention.
She spends most of her time scheming for War, who goes out and does the grunt work. However, she has been known to commit a few solo crimes as Lady Quicksilver, a name which she adopted purely for publicity purposes. Her identity as Mercury Hat is not unknown and she prefers to be amongst the general populace as herself whenever possible, taking great joy in scaring random people on the street.
She was also once the temporary leader of the Giga Squad Team after fooling them into believing she had been reformed. This happened when the masked monkey had been Presumed dead (He was actually sleeping, and rejoined the team two hours later to fid he wasn't leader anymore). In reality she hadn't reformed, she and War were merely having a lover's quarrel and she had hoped to give him the Giga Squad Team as a present in order to patch things up.
