After his Accident, Net posseses a unique mastery of magic and the dark arts which he uses to sinister effect.
Description and History of Net
The origins of the naga Net are shrouded in mystery... unless you ask him, or he blurts it out during a fight, or it just happens to be in his diary that you find when you're investigating yet another of his uber-secret laboratories (typically hidden in plain sight).
A young lad before his transformation, Net dabbled into magics most arcane in his attempt to duplicate the movie Weird Science with magic. However, the magics failed miserably, and the summoned demon infused Net's being with magical energy, transforming him from human to naga just because he thought it'd be funny.
The change and the magic running through Net has created a villian most heinous. His spell casting is very strong, and as the token magic-casting villian for the Giga Squad, they typically have had difficulty in defeating him. However, Net also makes very stupid mistakes in his quest for world conquest (most notibly in issue #4 of Spider Monkey, when he left his ATM card within reach of Spider Monkey. All of the world's funds were transferred into Net's personal account, only to be returned to their rightful owners from the nearest ATM)
Net has "died" many times in the comics, only to return later with his usual vengeance and a complete lack of knowledge about his prior "deaths." Readers who question this fact have often disappeared themselves, leading many to suspect a coverup from....
