Description and History of Sentroid
Phactoid was built by megalomaniacal supervillain Dr. Strangelegs as part of his home constructed army of death and destruction. In Phactoid's construction, the villain used a pirated copy of the original Sprite V1 artificial intelligence system.
In his career as robotic henchman, phactoid was often in battle with Moomanman, even working up an obsession over the hero's Metal arm. Time and time again they would meet in battle and Phactoid would attempt to make off with the leaden limb.
During the Crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Sprites" all the pirated copies of the original software were reunited and uncorrupted, resulting in the copy which made up Phactoid being switched to a heroic persona. Now named Sentroid, the ace android with an anti-villain stance fights to destroy Dr. Strangelegs while working as a reserve member of the Giga Squad Team. Moomanman is still wary of Sentroid as he appears to still have a soft spot for that metal arm.
