History

The "SideNote:" series was made from a old web comic that Eric Christmas made back when he was still a freshmen in high school. It was called "NeKo and Fox" it was very poorly drawn and was filled with spelling errors and hard to read text. Around mid 2004 Eric made "SideNote:" the story consisted of randomness and some guess strips to fill in for those long non updated months, that comic was a monthly comic until work kept Eric from getting to it at all and just simply stop on it [and also that the fact that it had no strong story line kept it from being easily fallowed didn't help much is drawing a story board for it]

About SideNote: Take2

With that comic also meeting it's end the next chapter "SideNote:Take2" is a deferent world altogether, it still uses NeKo and his evil buddy Fox, but also adds a few more friends along for a road trip [Feyla the Cheetah, Andy the "Padunk", Chippy the Chipmunk]

The main story will have them driving from state to state [Starting from Florida], tourist trap to tourist trap, seeking whatever comes there way. they also pick along a few hitch hikers for the ride later in the story time frame

Art style

The comic is done in a anthropometric anime style, kind of cute in it's own way, Photoshop shading is used for all coloring and clean up on the text and word bubbles, the background of the main border of each comic will show the state they are in [or if it's a big tourist trap that will be placed in the background of the comic border as well]

Each comic is 4 cells long reading left to right top to bottom, each new cover art will be at each 20 page mark, also marking a new chapter.
