Who can really define "reality". What is real is what we percieve to be real. So therefore shouldn't the reality of completely crazy people be just as tangible as that of the sane? And who is to define what is "crazy".. Anyway, this comic isn't as smart as all that. Hope you enjoy jokes about sex toys and rabid zombie women with PMS!

Plot

There is no plot, that's the beauty of it. Occasionally there may be a sub-plot, but the comic is basically as thus. So loosely based upon my actual life that it might as well not be about me at all.

Mini Sub-Plots

"The Supermarket of Evil" 1 - 7
Alex catches a cold, so Andy, Jon, Marc, and Skittles go to the supermarket to fetch feminine supplies.

"The Bully" 1 - 5
A bully beats Skittles up. It's time for Alex to take revenge!

"Flashback" 1 - 11
Jon can't sleep, and muses about the night he met Zack, and how he came to fall in love with him.

"Zombies!" 1 - 2
The shortest zombie takeover ever. With guest star, Batman!

"The Gay Swap!" 1 - 5
Jon and Zack of Skewed Reality and Chibi Freak and Anfri of the webcomic Total Insanity have unwillingly been switched around in the new reality tv show that acts nothing like a real reality tv show, "The Gay Swap!" And hilarity ensues.

"Hatter MD" 1 - 6
It's really what you think it is, a parody of House MD, in Skewed Reality fashion. Andy plays the abrasive but loveable Hatter MD, Jon plays Boredman, Zack plays Face, M'anda plays Mammaron (yeah I went there), Alex plays Cutty, and Marc plays Hatter's BFF LeWilsone. Their task, to cure Barbara.

"Pride" 1 - 10
In this sub-plot, Jon and Zack decide to chaperone a local GLBT teen rally. Zack runs away from Jon in anger after Jon is incapable of calling him his boyfriend in public, but can Jon find him again to save him when the school gym is set on fire?

"PANTS" 1 - 3
What will happen when Paddy teaches platypi how to drive tanks? And just what does "PANTS" stand for?

"Double-Date" 1 - 9
Jim lures Andy into going on a double-date with himself and Alex, by offering free food. Andy invites along his ex-boyfriend. Sparks just might fly.... Or maybe it's just gas.

Characters

Main characters

Character Age Appearance Bio/description
Andy 23 andy Andy is the main character of the comic, based off the artist. He moves into an apartment with two strange British guys and quietly accepts the strange turns his life takes. He also has a webcomic of his own, called "The Misadventures of Gothboy". Andy's obsessions include coffee (aka 'thy god'), large chested women (don't ask), Alice in Wonderland, and cigarettes.
Jon 27 jon Jon is very testy and has a questionable past. He only admits to loving Zack, and even that was forced out of him. He's fiercely protective of Zack, doesn't argue with Andy or his two-by-four, and he has a healthy fear of Alex. He pretty much shows nothing but dislike for anyone else. Jon was born and raised in a little town in Scotland, eventually following Zack on his excursion to the States.
Zack 25 zack Zack is albino, but he makes up for lack of physical pigment with a very colorful personality. He's openly gay with a fear of women and an unhealthy obsession with Prince. He was born in Manchester England, though it's questionable as to whether or not he ever had a real address before meeting Jon. Zack also has a very strong libido, high opinion of himself, and an extensive collection of sex toys.

Little Facts And Things

  • The comic actually started out as a strip about myself and my ex girlfriend, and kind of expanded from there.
  • My style and artistic abilities are always growing and changing so it rarely looks the same from one strip to the next.
  • I started out drawing SR entirely with a mouse in programs like PSP and PhotoImpact, because I didn't have a scanner.
  • Because the comic is loosely based off of my life, many of my friends have cameo characters in the strip.
  • Recently I've stopped drawing the comic in anime, and I've been adapting a new, Western-type style.
