Comic:The Best and the Brightest

PLOT

The Best and the Brightest, or TBatB, is your basic Catholic youth coming-of-age story. So sassy plaid miniskirts and booze. No panty fetish though, that's a manga thing. We're Americans, g-ddamnit!

Intended as an arc story in the tradition of Josh Phillips' Avalon (to which my comic owes its inspiration), The Best and the Brightest has a planned beginning, middle, and end. The comic begins on the first day of school and will end with the characters graduating... assuming they haven't died or dropped out. Mwa ha ha!

If I haven't scared you off yet, the comic is a comedy.

CHARACTERS

The comic centers around two leads, a teacher and student, each of whom operates with their own ensemble casts. They also only interact in the classroom. So, really, it's kinda like two comics.

Andrew Creed is the somewhat oblivious student.

Walter Fremont is the bald, caustic teacher.

Once the comic gets some more updates under its belt, I'll add some information on the rest of the cast.

LAZY GRIND 2

The comic updates in the early morning on a MWF schedule. Since September 11th, 2006 it has been a member of the Lazy Grind 2.
