'The Bigheads' is a webcomic written and illustrated by Ricardo Maiko Uehoka Entz and Camila Satie Tomikawa. As a metaphor for their future lives, theyve created the story of a family that is anything but normal. Mr Bighead is an aeronautical engineer, and Mrs Bighead is a doctor. They also have a siberian husky named Myria (an anagram of Mryia, the russian word for "dream"), and Tot, the genius baby.

History

It began in 2006 on Maikos Fotothing weblog, soon the idea grew and took a space for itself [1] and some time later, its own home [2].

The Characters

Mr Bighead

He is Tots father and Mrs Bigheads husband. Head of the household on 666 Main St. , he is an aeronautical engineer and won a Nobel prize by solving the Navier-Stokes equations. His first meeting with Mrs Bighead in school was marked by a Mrs Bigheads sharp-edged Go graze!. In a nutshell, he is a guy who hates math, loves his family above all, and thinks atomic bombs are good weapons against insects.

Mrs Bighead

She is Tots mother and Mr Bigheads wife. She is a physician and saves many lives per day (unless she doesnt have her contact lenses). Although she is not good at dealing with cars and ovens, she tries hard being a nice mother and wife.

Tot Bighead

He is the son of the Bighead couple. As the most genial person in the family, he has always the answers (including the meaning of life), the only problem is that he cannot talk yet... Myria (dog Bighead) is the only one that can understand him... He likes candies very much (in fact, he would do anything to reach the candy pot) and feels extremely cold (that explains why Mrs Bighead has to pack him with blankets).

Myria

He is the Bigheads pet . He is a siberian husky dog and was chosen by his high IQ . In spite of being a non-social canine type, he is very fond of humans if one gives him some food.
