The World of Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toriyama and set in a world very different than the one we live in.

The world is united under one ruler, the great ‘King Of The World’ and is a relatively peaceful place. It seems to be far more advanced technologically than our world, with the appearance of capsules that are no bigger than a thumb that can hold anything from a suitcase to a full sized house.

It also seems that-while technically advanced, humans are not the only species that can walk and talk, all forms of life that lives on the land walks upright and can speak in a general language that all understands, along with this there is the many species of Dinosaur that lives alongside the others-though these are mainly found in deserts and deep jungles, there have even been Dinosaurs that understand reason and speech enough to communicate with humans.
