Triquetra Cats is a webcomic by JessicaRaven Silverstone and Chrysicat it is a manga style comic which blends a variety of manga genres including Magical Girl, Space Opera, Horror, School Drama, and Furry. The story revolves around the Soricha sisters, who are magic users recruited by a secret government agency called SERVICE in order to fight a group of vampires called the Hand of the Dragon
Triquetra Cats has been published on DrunkDuck since August 2003, and mirrored on Keenspace since November 2004 New episodes are published three times weekly, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Main cast
Rain Soricha/Blue Cat, the youngest of the Soricha Sisters, age 14, she has short blue hair and blue eyes, she tends to be shy and introverted, however underneath that she is fiercly protective and tends to lash out when people she loves has been hurt. Rain is a skilled hand to hand fighter, mastering eight martial arts, she is also arguably the only human on earth who has mastered the Antreyki martial art Tek Kel Rla and the Antreyki language. during Operation: New Life, she was transformed into a boy as an infant and raised under the name Michael Jorgensen. currently she has a crush on schoolmate Ryu Ishintari. she has the ability to control water
Petra Soricha/Green Cat, the middle sister, age 15 she has long green hair and green eyes, she is considered the genius of the trio, she fancies herself an ameateur detective, and frequently uses logic to point out complex situations as glaringly obvious, much to the chagrin of her sisters. she is also a technical genius who has a natural afinity for computers and technology (which she has a passion for at almost frightening levels) during Operation: New Life, she was transformed into a boy as a toddler and raised under the name Chris Richards, she has the ability to control earth and rock
Blaze Soricha/Red Cat, the eldest sister, age 16, she has medium length red hair and red eyes, she is has a firey temper and slightly below average smarts and common sense (which is made the butt of jokes by her two sisters)she has a tomboyish personality and excels in sports, she has a natural afinity for weapons and can master any weapon from a sword to a rifle within hours of first picking one up, during Operation: New Life, she was transformed into a boy as a small child and raised under the name of Jason Cohen, she has the ability to control fire

Marco Johannis/Shinobi Grey, Leader of SERVICE's Shinobi Spectrum, he has shaggy blonde hair, and always wears a rumpled grey suit, he is a cynical sarcastic master of espionage and disinformation,
Katherine Rigel, a freelance scientist recruited by SERVICE, she is recognized by her hair worn in a tight bun cateye glasses and a white lab coat, she leads the medical and science divisions and is responsible for much of the weapons and devices SERVICE agents use. In civilian life she poses as the Soricha's aunt Katherine "Aunt Kat" Hexe
Gemini Gold/Gemini Silver, an apparant split personality, she is recognized by her black/white hair, and black and silver/white and gold uniform, SERVICE's top agent, she watched over and rescued Michael/Rain from a clan of Hand of the Dragon
Boke Ecchimon, SERVICE's director, recognized as in his mid to late 70's wears a red suit and tie stands about 4 feet tall, all division leaders report directly to him. he reports directly to the UNCP, (although as the UNCP is unaware of SERVICE's existance or true purpose, they know him as the director of Group 3, an inplanetary law enforcement agency similar to the CIA) like his name suggests he is in reality a senile old pervert.
Vyolette Tsuramatsu, the Soricha's "step-sister" age 16, recognized by her long purple hair worn in a braid, large purple compound eyes, and pointed ears, Vyolette is actually a half demon, born of a human mother and a demon father, SERVICE's original M-P group lead an attack on Vyolette's father Tsuramatsu the Unspeakable King, in an effort to stop him from destroying humanity, when the dust cleared only the Arial, the Soricha's mother survived the confrontation, as SERVICE confiscated the evidence of the battle, they discovered the toddler Vyolette, clinging to her dead mother, seeing that the child contains the capacity for good as well as evil, Arial adopted Vyolette and raised her along side her birth children. after Operation: New Life she was raised by Stone Bluejay and occasionally used in non-dangerous SERVICE missions. the Soricha's have since asked SERVICE to equip her for offensive missions, thus beginning to rebuild M-P, Vyolette has incredible strenght, agility, the ability to control her hair, and sense magic and wields demon weapons, the Pinwheel and Jeweled Gauntlets of Shunmyo, in civilain life she can assume a human form, and poses as the Soricha sister's cousin
Kazumi Church, a legend in religious history, Kazumi is a Miko with massive ki powers and holy abilites, 60 years ago Kazumi dissapeared off the face of the planet. in reality Kazumi was recruited to the Hand of the Dragon, her mind warped and her body scarred, she became subservient to the merest whims of Keiko Keshin, in time her holy powers wained as she was trained to be a Black Miko, when M-P raided Keshin's Dragon clan Keshin sent Kazumi to "throw her life at them" she attacked Red Cat with an ofuda seal, which was highly ineffective. Red Cat taking pity on her, captured her rather than killed her, Kazumi readily surrendered and is now serving a sentence in a SERVICE prison complex.
Liger Nekishou Liger is a lieutenant in the Antreyki military, she is a white tiger/lion crossbreed (hence her name Liger) she is characterized with white fur with black stripes and black hair with white stripes, blue slitted eyes, she is usually seen wearing her military uniform, most humans she deals with mispronounce her last names as Nekishoujo thinking it is a corruption of the japanese words neko (cat) and shoujo (girl) her last name is actually a combination of the Antreyki words Neqki (to strike) and Hol (life) her name is pronounced closer to neqkishol (meaning striking life)
Ryu Ishintari, a classmate of Rain Soricha's, he has long black hair and wears glasses, Rain has a crush on Ryu. Although he does not seem to notice her, he occasionally acknowledges her such as the time when he loaned her 500 yen because she did not have enough to pay for lunch, Rain recently presented Ryu with a beckoning cat keychain as a souvineer from the sisters' trip to Tokyo, Ryu thanked her for it remarking that cats are his favourite animal.
Arial Soricha, the Soricha sisters' mother, she was born Arial Hexe, an m-user who could control air. she was a teen runaway who lived on the streets and supported herself by using her power to commit petty burglaries, untill she was confronted by a SERVICE agent with the option of going to prison or working with them, she became one of SERVICE's best agents, meeting and falling in love with another M-user agent Akira Soricha. Akira was killed in the battle with Tsuramatsu, later on Arial was captured and presumably killed by the Hand of the Dragon, however she planned a contingency for this and instituded Operation: New Life for her daughters.
Villians
Kyle Xayrn, had Kyle not been sired to become a Hand of the Dragon, he would have still been a troubled youth and a serial killer. Characterized as wearing a ripped sleeveless school uniform over a black t-shirt, armoured boots and gauntlets, long black hair and half his face scarred and melted from a weapon blast by Gemini Silver. He takes great pleasure in killing and inflicting pain on his victims, he killed, beheaded and crucified Michael/Rain's parents just to prove a point, Rain later killed him in a desire for revenge
Melissa Charis/Bloody Succubus, Melissa is just as twisted as Kyle, she regards Kyle as her greatest rival, even after his death, her greatest aspiration is to become a Dragon General. a feared Hand of the Dragon warrior who reports to none other than the mysterious "liege" of the Hand of the Dragon himself. she uses her sexuality as her greatest weapon, as well as a paraflight set for when she needs to make quick escapes
Keiko Keshin, an ancient Hand of the Dragon clan leader who delights in torturing and scaring the bodies of her acolytes for "discipline" she also loves corrupting innocent souls and turning them to Dragon members. Kazumi Church being her crown jewel. at one point she posed as the principal of Shemeiru Futuba High School, using her position to recruit students to her Dragon Clan, and killing those who refuse or show no promise, she was decapitated in a fight with Shinobi Grey, although she still lived thanks to a Dragon's resiliancy to damage, she aquired a prosthetic that allowed her head to reattatch to her body (it can temporarily detatch and move via cybernetic 'spider legs') her body was destroyed by an M-P raid and currently living in a SERVICE prison complex as a disembodied head
Tsuramatsu the Unspeakable King, a deadly Oni who dreamed of conquest of the planet and destruction of all "inferior species" repopulating the world with his children he succeded in laying waste to several villages of tengu and humans in Japan and fathering at least one daughter, Vyolette before he was killed by M-P in a battle that left Arial Soricha and the toddler Vyolette as the only survivors
Talbe Uikami Ani-yoni Talbe's form is that of a large timberwolf, he is an antreyki citizen convicted of 32 murders in the australian antreyki controlled regions, sentenced to life in the penal colony in Perth, he soon escaped, after purchasing black market nanotech he transformed himself into a human form, and fled to Tokyo under the name Ookami Hanone (a name that weither he knew it or not belied his true form) taking up his old habits he began to "play werewolf" seducing female victims, taking them to secluded spots and using the nanotech to transform himself back into a wolf antreyki, and killing them. this attracted the attention of SERVICE who sent Project Elemental Cat to deal with the werewolf, when Project Elemental Cat was confronted by Liger Nekishou, Blue Cat speaking in the antrey language volunteered their services and began fighting Talbe using Tek Kel Rla, which impressed the lieutenant.
Groups and Organizations
SERVICE, is a secritive government orginization dedicated to cataloguing and policing the magical and supernatural element in the universe, although most supernatural beings peacefully co-exist with humans there are elements that present danger, this is where SERVICE comes in. to the public in general SERVICE does not exist, as magic does not exist either, SERVICE liason's with the UNCP using the cover group Group 3.
M-P, a subgroup of SERVICE, made up of M-Users, at it's core is Project: Elemental Cat
Shinobi Spectrum, a subgroup of SERVICE, made up of agents trained in the art of ninjitsu
UNCP, The United Consortium of Nations and Planets, the natural evolution of the United Nations when colonization of the solar system became widespread
Antreyki, an anthropomorphic "non-nation" Antreyki are anthropomorphs who's ancestors were human, as such they are treated with extreme prejudice by humans in general, they have not been granted citizenship status by the UNCP
Hand Of The Dragon: a group of vampires, set against SERVICE, they are amassing an army for unknown reasons.
Events Items and Terms
Operation New Life: a SERVICE protocol instituted be Arial Soricha for the protection of her daughters, and sensitive information that they held, in the event that she would be captured or killed by the Hand of the Dragon her daughters were to have their memories erased and their bodies altered to become male, they were placed into foster families, their only ties to their former lives were a set of data rings that they carried, unviewable individually but when brought together they contained their mother's last transmission detailing the Hand of the Dragon's one weaknsss
M-User, a magic user or magically created being
Project: Elemental Cat, the code name given to Arial Soricha,and later her daughters by SERVICE
Data rings, ring shaped data storage devices much like modern CDs or DVDs, the ones given to the Soricha sisters were intentionally corrupted in such a way that they were unplayable unless all three were played at the exact same time.
Nanites, microscopic robots that are inhaled and enter the body via the lungs, they are programed to alter the body at the cellular level, there are two forms of nanite, human made and Antreyki made, human made nanites are short lived and can only alter the body once or twice before burning out, too much use of human made nanites can cause a disease refered to as NCDS or Nanite Cellular Degeneration Syndrome, Human nanites were used to transform the Soricha sisters into boys and back again. Antreyki nanites are longer lived and after they complete their programming stay in the body in a dormant state untill an infusion of activator nanites are inhaled to reactivate/reprogram them, they do not cause NCDS, Antreyki nanites were used by Talbe Uikami Ani-yoni to fake lycanthropy and transform back and forth from a human form to a timberwolf anthropomorph
Catsuits/Cat Collars, special collars designed by Katherine Rigel, Catsuits are a special type of transforming bio-armour, each collar contains hundreds of micro-bots (larger than nanites, about the size of a period.) that when released weave a hyrdocarbon thread through street clothes turning them into a lightweight armour although only 1.27 mm thick is able to withstand a shotgun blast at point blank range, a recent upgrade to the Cat Collars allow them to disguise the wearer as well as protect.
Jeweled Gauntlets of Shunmyo, mystical gauntlets that increase a demon's strength and power 100 fold, Vyolette who's powers are so small that they do not even register, becomes formidable with them, the gauntlets are also able to hold vast ammounts of items by storing them in a pocket dimension withing the jewels
Pinwheel, a dread weapon that can only be wielded by demons, it is a large double bladed 4 dimensional scythe, able to cut through anything, and create razor sharp wind shears, Vyolette stores the pinwheel within the Jeweled Gauntlets of Shunmyo.
Splio Beasts, genetic creations of a company named DiNACorp, Splios are essentially the genetic amalgam of every catalogued animal that has ever walked the earth, they are recognized by teal fur and a crest of red feathers over a green scaly hide, Splios are amphibious posessing both lungs and gills, and are omnivourous. Splios come in 5 subspecies refered to as generations, Generation 1 Splios stand roughly 30 feet tall and weigh an average of 40 tons, they are built with powerful muscles and long sharp tusks and horns. they were deemed too wild to control, most were destroyed but some escaped to africa and bred unopposed becoming the top predator of the region, their prefered prey are elephants and orcas, their populations are strictly controled by the Antreyki. Generations 2 though 5 have both wild and domesticated individuals Generation 2's stand 15 feet tall and weigh 10 tons, they are similar in aspect to Generation 1's but are generally more docile and trainable, Generation 3's stand 7 feet tall and weight 2200 lbs, they are similar in shape and disposition of horses, Generation 4's stand 4 feet and weigh 220 lbs, they are similar in shape and disposition to canines, Generation 5's stand 1 foot tall and weighs 10 lbs, and are somewhat feline in shape and behaviour. Rain Soricha keeps a Generation 5 Splio as a pet whom she has named Pito-Pita Chan
Paraflight, the most popular extreme sport in the Triquetra Cats universe, it consists of two main pieces of equipment, a glider with an embedded anti-gravity generator which is strapped to the back and enables the wearer to sustain short periods of flight, and a pair of bladed boots not unlike ice skates that are made to glide over a special low friction glass like surface, Paraflight Parks build complicated ramps, pipes, and rails using this glass, combined, a skilled Paraflyer can perform complicated tricks that combine modern extreme inline skating with arial acrobatics. Locations
Nihomeca, in the timeline of Triquetra Cats, America and Japan have blended cultures and borders so much that they have oficially became one country, refered to as the United Prefectures of Nihomeca
Sanjeko City, a city in Northern California that has replaced Washington DC as the capitol of the nation, it also houses the UNCP headquarters, and SERVICE headquarters, it is also where the Soricha sisters call home
Tokyo, This is where SERVICE fought both Tsuramatsu and Talbe Uikami Ani-yoni
Antreyki Controlled Terrotories, these include large portions of Canada, Greenland, Northern Scandanavia, Russia, Artic territories, Antartic Territories, South America, Africa, Malaysia and Australia on earth, as well as colonies on Mars Venus and Titan, as well as several dozen deep space stations.

Period 5: Torrential Rain, Rain leaves SERVICE headquarters to take revenge on Kyle for murdering her family, Petra and Blaze join with Gemini Silver, Stone Bluejay, and Marco Johanis to search for her, they find her too late, after she has killed Kyle, and are descended upon by the rest of the clan, thanks to Petra's m-ability they are able to barely make it back to SERVICE headquarters, the Cat Collars are introduced
Period 6: The Cats vs the Dragon, thanks to Petra's m-ability they are able to barely make it back to SERVICE headquarters, the Cat Collars are introduced, as is Boke Ecchimon, Project: Elemental Cat is reinstated, and set against Kyle's Dragon clan,
Period 7: Downtime, The Soricha Sisters first day at their new school, Pito-Pita Chan is introduced as is Ryu Ishantari
Period 8: Enter Vyolette Vyolette is introduced, as is Kazumi Church, the Cats, along with Vyolette raid Keshin's Dragon clan, M-P is reinstated
Period 9: An Antreyki Werewolf in Tokyo the Antreyki are introduced, the Cats go to Tokyo to stop an Antreyki serial killer thinking he is a werewolf, Rain explains some of her past, specifically where she learned Tek Kel Rla and how to speak Antreyki
Period 10: Home Again Blaze gives more information on her past, up untill entering high school her adoptive parents allowed Blaze to live as a female, giving her the name Jena, after reuniting with a childhood friend Blaze learns that her family is geneticly an exact duplicate of the Sorichas, and that the Hand of the Dragon have targeted her family, Blaze in anger rushes off to defend them, upon reaching the synagogue they are ambushed by a Dragon that can cast illusions. it is then revealed that the Cohens are themselves also M-Users (although not quite as strong as the Sorichas) and working for another orginization.
Period 11: Undercover M-P has an oppertunity to infiltrate a large scale Dragon clan meeting, however the only way they can survive is if they're lead there by a Dragon themselves. SERVICE reluctantly volunteers Kazumi Church for the job. Once at the meeting, M-P learns of several crypticly worded plans. At the end of the meeting all clans are dismissed while the leaders are invited to a supplimentary meeting, M-P hessitantly releases Kazumi to this meeting and returns to SERIVCE. meanwhile Melissa in an effort to become a General is upgrading herself, however she is plagued with visions of the dead Kyle Xayrn. A few hours after the meeting, Kazumi makes contact with SERVICE. M-P goes to retrieve her, but she warns she is being hunted, Melissa Charis now calling herself the Bloody Succubus attacks M-P, Vyolette rushes Kazumi to safety while the Cats chase after the Bloody Succubus. Thanks to her cooperation Stone Bluejay rewards Kazumi with a transfer to a SERVICE minimum security prison.
Period 12: Sired The Cats continue their pursuit of the Bloody Succubus

Blaze is loosely based off of writer Chrysicat, despite what most people think Rain is NOT based off of Artist JessicaRaven, however Katherine Rigel is.
the language that the Antreyki speak was created completely by JessicaRaven SIlverstone, it has it's own script, grammatical rules, and vocabulary
