Hi and Welcome to a little information about the Comic "What You Don't See" by Angel Phantom, or WYDS as it has been now nicknamed.

Plot
Angel, a 19 year old college student is trying to live through college. Her friends, family, and others are all in a tangled web of surviving finals as well as relationships. Some of the comics situations are based on fact (meaning based on situations that have currently happened to my friends and I in college or otherwise) while others are pure fiction and just plain strange or funny. With very strange characters and back drop scenery, WYDS is definitely a weird twist on life.
Major Characters
=== Angel: === Angel is our main character. We enter into her life about half way through her sophomore year in college. She lives with Artemis, her bestfriend, and her son, Brady in a college apartment. She's 19 years old and was born on May 13th. She's got blue eyes and gray hair. Inside her head is a small bug who apparently holds up flash cards to help her make big decisions. Why? Because that's a running joke on how Angel the creator actually thinks.
=== Adrian: === Adrian is the new freshmen transfer student. His sudden appearance at the school upset Angel's finals schedule and caused a little trouble on the floor. He's taken an interest in Mel and she in him. He's a good guy and never really tries to get in trouble...but trouble seems to find him first. His birthday is April 10th and currently he's 18 years old. He's got golden eyes and blonde hair.
=== Lady: === Lady is a Sophomore. She lives on the same floor as Angel. She rooms with Mel and Fred though. She's one of the older main character at 20 years old. She's got a "slight" crush on Skeeter and now is going to the dance with him because of Angel's quick thinking. Her birthday is August 17. She's got violet eyes and black/dark gray hair.
=== Artemis: === Artemis is Angel's bestfriend who lives in the same complex as her, she's also a 19 year old college sophomore. She was born on April 10 and has magenta eyes and auburn hair and has recently had a harsh break-up. How does she cope? By trying to set Angel up with a Ferret...AND helps trick Rance into wearing...or not wearing something after loosing a bet.
=== Mel: === Mel aka Melissa is a Sophomore and she lives with Lady and the random girl down the hall aka Fred. She's taken an interest in Adrian and she loves video games. She explains to Adrian about Angel's not so good past relationship. She's 19 years old and was born on February 17th. She's got green eyes and red (or something close to it) hair.
=== Garret: === Garret or Jimmy as he likes to be called is a friend of Skeeter's from the U (another sort of local college). Unlike the other cast members he is a white albino ferret. He's got a not-so pretty back ground either but really seems to like Angel to the point where they've been on at least three dates.
=== Rance: === Rance is actually Fred's fraternal Twin brother. Who does he happen to be living with at the apartments but our very own Adrian. He will do anything to get Artemis to go out with him, and we mean anything. He and Artemis are now going to go to the dance together, but not without a sacrifice on Rance's part.
Minor Characters
=== Alec: === Alec the freshmen who has a tendancy to interrupt any type of studying going on in the hall. He's out going and friendly, but doesn't know when to stop. He introduced the girls to Adrian. He's 19 and was born on April 16. He's got green eyes and brown hair.
=== Zache: === Zache is the father of Angel's child. He sometimes come off as one of the good guys but he's not really. Angel's got some secrets about him that only Artemis knows about, and hopefully will stay that way. He's 21 and was born on June 22. He's got blue eyes and brown hair.
=== Skeeter: === Skeeter is one of the guys on campus that everybody knows. He's a good guy and cares for every one. Lady's got a pretty good crush going on him, but if he likes her the same way is really anyone's guess. He's 20 years old, but no one seems to know his birthday! He's got green eyes and blonde hair.
=== Brady: === Brady is Angel's 2 year old son. With mom and dad he's a perfect angel but Artemis may have a reason for calling him "Monster." His cute eyes can't hide anything from Alec either, both know Brady's true personality. Where did his devil come from when his mother's name is Angel? Artemis blames Zache. His birthday is August 2nd and he's got blue eyes and grey hair.
=== Fred: === Fred is well...Fred. She's the most random of the group, and you never really know what's going to come out of her mouth next. She lives with Lady and Mel. She was born on February 18th and is 20 years old. She's got purple eyes and black hair.
=== Tovi: === Tovi likes videogames, or more importantly he is obsessed with them. Rance and he tend to get absorbed into trying to beat each other and...never sleep because of it. He's just your average guy, kinda poofy, but average.

Background
Angel came up with the idea for the comic in 2005 while being bored in her music 100 class. Lady encouraged her by helping scan in the comics that Angel drew. Before the comic was web-based though, the comics were posted on the doors outside of our rooms. When the comic first went web-based it went onto our college's server. Unfortunitly, it wasn't easy to work with when off campus so the we started looking for new places to host the comic. We stumbled across Comic Genesis (then Keenspace) by accident. After several short fights with the Keentags things were up and running (well for the most part.) The original start date has been lost to history but we launched on July 25th, so that's our new birthday!
