Description
Knights of the Corn, or KotC for short, is a fantasy project done for the members of the Cornstalker Forums. Written by Netpoet, it is a fantasy story about a world in turmoil. The population of the world are caught between two evil warring factions, and by this point in time the only safe places to live are on the very far eastern side of the landmass... everything else is pretty much destroyed or permanently holed-up for the duration.
At this point in time, Net is running the story entirely, though at later points there will be areas for contributions. Additionally, backstories are accepted immediately.
Knights of Vesteria
In September of 2006, Tdot and Net started Knights of Vesteria, a webcomic based on the world and characters brought about in KotC. Though the comic is based off of KotC, there will be much more that occurs in the comic than what occurred in the story itself.
Characters
Each character in this writing project was designed by the forumites, one character per victim... er, volunteer. The characters are as follows:

Seline (Robin) - elf spellbinder - no focus, pure spellbinder

Marius Flame (Tynan) - human swordsman

Panda (K-Dawg) - gundar warrior

Nachket (Sparrow) - drow alchemist
Eliseus (Humbug) - human thief
Mihoko (Tdot) - elven spellbinder - focus in healing
Kaukasus (Hogan) - human barbarian

Naguilla (Lego) - big ol dragon thing, eats pigs
Elven skeletal warlord (Bob) - dead paladin, commanding skeletons against the party
Grish (834n) - goblin
Gro'lakk and Sheldon (LC) - dual-headed gundar

Written Contributions
Net has written about 90% of the total plotline and occurrences that appear in the story, with Lego, Vorticus and Sortelli adding the remaining 10%.
