What's This Got To Do With Comic Genesis, Eh?

Comic Genesis is the location where a group of subscribers to the titles produced by Rawkout were to set up their fansite, collecting their favourite moments from series such as The Spectacular Masked Monkey and The Giga Squad Team. So far the attempts have been a ridiculous abortion, as every time they register for an account, the blasted thing wont work. And take it to Drunk Duck they will not.

Titles Released By Rawk Out Comics

The Spectacular Masked Monkey - Originally titled Monkey Comics from Rawk Out's days as "Rock Press" when they made animal comics. It later changed its name to reflect the success of the superhero. This is the title that started it all, and the ongoing series relating Masked Monkey's adventures remains popular with all ages to this day. Example

Masked Monkey - Popularity of the original title caused the bosses to sit up and take notice. This is a companion comic, featuring further adventures of the hero. Example

Masked Monkey Team Up - Masked Monkey teams up with other characters from the Rawk Out universe.

The Masked Monkey Manga - Disliked by many hardcore fans, this was a dramatic restructuring of the Masked Monkey's legend. Mechas, Samurai, and chibi were met by stony expressions in the west, still published in Japan. Example

World's Awesomest - Silver Age title, Moomanman and Masked Monkey had many hijinks, including issues where their picnics were ruined by a pint-sized War-man from Earth 46. Cancelled during the 1980's when everything became grim and gritty.

Giga Squad Team - Filling the slot World's Awesomest left lying open, this team book has a revolving cast with Masked Monkey, Moomanman, and Rocket Claude II at its core. Example

Spider Monkey - Created in an attempt to please both Silver and Modern Age fans (while also trying to bring in the ever-disaffected teen demographic), this series follows the adventures of the original Monkey Lad, now all grown up and a superhero in his own right.

Young Heroes - Summary needed

Moomanman - Solo adventures of Moomanman. However, sensing a change in readers' attitude in the 1980s, Rawk Out decided to re-invent Moomanman, making him a dark and gritty character. Rawk Out shocked the world with an infamous Christmas special, in which his forearm was torn off and replaced with a metal one. The majority of the fanbase welcomed the change, but would still complain about Moomanman's new tendency to give a short emotioned speech on his metal arm.

Moomanman - The Animated Series - Print editions of the Animated Series' best remembered storylines. Fans old and new delighted when the Moomanman series errupted onto television sets across the world with no less than 12 characters voiced by Mark Hamill. This comic series was the icing on the cake and introduced many new readers to a legend.

Two Fisted Tales of Rocket Claude - Originally a series following the original Rocket Claude during World War 2, this title was recently unearthed with a new hero following in the steps of the original. Rocket Claude II strives constantly against an all new rogue's gallery including Faceless Malone, his arch nemesis who runs the filthy dirty shipping city of Fisham. Example

Lollirot Miniseries - The controversial miniseries following the the eternally illegal exploits of villain Lollirot. Includes Rocket Claude, the Masked Monkey, and even Moomanman!

Masked Monkey's Pal: McDuffies - Made during the Golden Age of Rawk Out Comics, this series specialized in imaginary stories about Masked Monkey's bestest pal in the whole world. Many of the stories revolved around McDuffies gaining weird powers or getting into interesting perdicaments or recieving kicks square in the crotch. Interest fell off when people began to realize the comic was nothing but nosense from beginning to end, but recently there has been a huge nostalgia-based upswing in back issue sales. Example

McDuffies Heroes - Disasterous updating of the character with a 90's chrome finish and alternate sketch covers. Example
