Stalag '99 is an odd webcomic by Comic Genesis Admin Kelly Price. Starting in September of 1999 as a weekly webcomic, Stalag '99 moved to then KeenSpace in 2000 and grew into a thrice-weekly furry webcomic. Some say it is the first nonsexual webcomic that features hermaphrodites as main characters.

Story Summary
Stalag '99 starts out roughly in the middle, as the artist putzes around with one-shot comic strips, slowly showing off the main characters WolfSkunk RedWolf and Sandra Felis. The major plot comes in when Sandra is injured, and RedWolf's old spaceship's "autodoc" confuses hir for a WolfSkunk. After a short trip through Congress, both Sandra and RedWolf, with an old friend Terry Pinn in tow, travel to RedWolf's homeworld (Canmeph 2) and hir bar, Shotgun Shells, where a watch species has unwittingly broken out of the planet's grips -- and Captian RedWolf is elevated to an Admiral.
Sandra soon is told that shi's a shapeshifter, just like RedWolf is, and RedWolf agrees to train hir... but soon thereafter RedWolf's called to find out what is going on to Canmephia's Babylon Alpha space station. Leaving Sandra with hir spaceship and some cash, RedWolf gains hir pet cabbit/dracokitty FireTiger. Shi takes FireTiger out for "walkies," exploiting the spaceship and mecha abilities of the fur to journey to Babylon Alpha. There shi finds a mess... but also WolfSkunks Rashana and Xilimyth. RedWolf fixes all the problems and puts in an old friend, Captian Aquin, before getting hir latest assignment: Ambassador to Sol 3, or Earth.
Characters
Main Characters
- WolfSkunk RedWolf, a hermaphrodite WolfSkunk shapeshifter. Hir history is a mix of war and peace, with alot of heroics attributed to hir. Shi currently holds the rank of Admiral in both the millitary space command and millitary medical coor. RedWolf currently has a pet dracokitty called FireTiger, who for some reason can change into a Cowboy Bebop-ish Swordfish spaceship or a Gundam series-style mecha.
- Sandra Felis, a hermaprhodite Dryger shapeshifter. Hir history is more docile, origionally growing up female (with several rounds as being a completely genderless beefcake of a fur), but genetically hermaphrodite before meeting RedWolf. Shi is able to quickly graduate from a Canmephian college, and become a "Merchant Marine" Captian fairly eazily. RedWolf gave hir the WolfSkunk's ship, which shi rechristened the Valkrie. Currently, shi helps import Sol 3 beverages every few months.
