This was the first name chosen by Chris Crosby to be the replacement name for KeenSpace during the 2005 namechange. There was much resentment to this name by some forumites who did not wish their comics to be referred to as "toons". There was also buzz about whether this name wouldn't get confused with KeenSpot's other hosted community KeenToons.
