Many communities have their own little bits of jargon and words that have meanings which are important but might cause confusion to new users.

Here is a list of some common words and abbreviations found in the Comic Genesis (and general webcomic) community.

Specific to Comic Genesis

  • CG means Comic Genesis (when referring to computer generated images, the slightly long CGI is normally used).
  • SiteAdmin means the site administrative section. Log in with Forum username and password (Note: currently not working for new members).

Webcomics in General

  • Strip means a days' update. Normally one "page", can be a single image divided into a few panels to several images packed together to make larger, more complex pages.
