Tutorials/Start with the banner

When you are designing the layout of your comic site, it may be helpful to start with the banner that you will use to either advertise your comic or place at the top of the page.

By starting there, you will give yourself a "feel" for how the page will look. If you use blue and red in the banner, it may be nice to use red and blue in many places on the rest of the page. If you use a metallic grill background on your banner, you may want to use the same metallic grill on your buttons so that the site all looks like it belongs together.

This procedure may not help everyone, but it can be a good way to get yourself started.
