CJ Burgandy runs Burgundy Comics Inc Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, CJ tends to think that 75 degrees is hot and -15 is a bit nippy. CJ graduated from High School in 2000, went to a year of School in Thailand and then attended college for 2 years before joining the work force. She owns her own studio which is filled with clutter of soda cans and computer parts and her home is furnished with the fur of her four dogs, Corky, Ginger, Merric and Bryony.

CJ Burgandy is also the Main Character of the comic Burgundy Comics Inc, which takes place in the artist's home town and reflects only a small fraction of the artist's life, while the rest of it is complete lies and exagerations. The Character is mostly known for her large boobs and her inablity to think before she talks.

History of CJ's Cartooning Life

CJ has always wanted to draw cartoons, and in 1997, she got her first cartooning job. It was a poorly drawn comic about talking potatoes, which was featured for 3 months in the local newspaper. It would have lasted longer, but the person who edited the cartoon section was murdered and the newspaper stopped including comics in it after his untimely death. CJ then switched her focus to a story she was working on.
In 2001, CJ decided to make a comic to practice drawing angels, writting story lines and seeing if her art was appealing to an audiance, and to grow as an artist as well. That comic, would be Burgundy Comics, INC. In 2002, CJ drew a short lived comic called Shades of Burgundy, which she hates.
In the Future, CJ plans to write a comic called "Action Porn," a comic that is a collab with her girlfriend, and another comic that is in tribute to one of her favorite singers.
