EMH, short for Emergency Moderating Hologram, is the alter-ego of Yarpsdat, and a bad Star Trek Voyager reference.
It was originally programmed to serve as a moderator in times of mod-less anarchy. During that time, it learned to expand its program to include compassion, reason, and even sexuality. It was also eventually able to leave General Discussion with the assisstance of its mobile emitter.
It was eventually stripped of its mod powers and reprogrammed to serve in waste management.
The EMH was deemed technologically insufficient, and the project of holographic forumite replacements was abandoned. Other abandoned programs include the Emergency Admin Hologram, Emergency Spamming Hologram, and the Emergency Celebrity death thread hologram.
