Name
Pyros has gone by quite a number of online names, but has kept the name Pyros in them consistantly since April 1st, 2003
The name Pyros was actually a choice for DeviantART to be a "devious" name, and to fit in with his two best friends who both had steady online names. The original usename was Pyros Demonicus, but after sometime Pyros decided to drop the malevolent last name as he felt it didn't suit his personallity. The name eventually caught on as a nickname through high-school and he wrote articles for the school newspaper under the name. On websites where "Pyros" is taken he often uses the psuedonym "flaming Pyros"
He theorizes that worldwide he is more well-known as "Pyros" than his real name.
Characteristics
Well known for refering to people as "queerlings" and randomly tackling people over MSN, Pyros is every bit as odd and quirky as his comic. He is often one to talk to himself in public, make funny facial expressions and bizarre noises that make people either laugh or back away slowly.
Career
Outside of comics Pyros is an actor with a Vancouver-based queer comedy troupe. He performs improv and sketch comedy in the Vancouver area.
He also tours around schools in the Lower Mainland area talking about homophobia and violence and has recently begun touring the rest of BC.
