Hentai fan-artist turned webcomic artist turned hentai-for-profit-while-still-doing-regular-stuff-artist.
The entity known as Tenma began reading webcomics in 2002, and tried his hand at a few comic strips of his own, with no real plans for them. After reading Avalon, not only did Tenma realize that the webcomic format could be used for more than just strict gag-a-day, but he also discovered that he is well-liked when he draws boobs.
Tenma would eventually drop that monicker in favor of his real name, and attempt to make a semi-respectable comic. His success in this area is debatable.
