Miguel "Van Douchebag" Caron (or Van) is the author of White Hydra, a comic that started on Keenspace in early 2004 but has since moved elsewhere. While a member on the forums, Van was widely known for his rather blunt and often brazen comments about other forum members. He was eventually expelled from the forum after a number of warnings. He returned briefly as 'Van, Trickster Mage' to greet the state of Wisconsin, but got banned again. He has since been allowed to return as 'The Van'.
