VBHnPI is a webcomic that will be created by Nicholas Yaeger... eventually.
He uses the same setting and groups for his d20 Modern Campaign. This same setting is used in "The Superheroine WrongWay." To quote Yaeger, "I just didn't want to deal with several worlds at the same time. I figure Exton, Iowa's just sitting there. Besides, maybe in the future I can waste some fan's life trying to go to Exton."
Vinni's Bounty Hunting and Pizza Imporium and The Superheroine WrongWay will use the new Extonite License. Most details of the setting and characters can be re-used by other people in artistic endeavors.
Exton History
Exton has been described as "Hollywood in Iowa." It has gone from a urban oasis in a rural area to the centerpoint of a Fundamentalist Christian extremist group calling themselves "God's Army." After causing plenty of havoc, including an attempted destruction of the city, they were stopped by a small group of vigilantes, each one having his or her own reason, (quite a few wanted to show that God's Army didn't represent Christianity or Exton, while one had a personal vendetta against one of their leaders).
With God's Army taken down, and its leaders turned in, people thought that this would be the time for peace to overtake Exton.
They were mistaken, as new groups filled the niche God's Army once claimed. No one knew how much of a grip they had over Exton until other groups flourished. The incoming tide of Shadow also contributed to the havoc created by these groups.
Since the Vigilante system worked well in stopping God's Army, Exton expanded it to help stop these groups. Bounty Hunter Organizations sprung up quickly to take advantage of the expanded system, but will they handle the rise of these new organizations?
