Anthropomorphic

In the comics world, an anthropomorphic character is a non-human character which has been given human attributes and form. They are most often found in furry comics, but this is not always the case as anthropomorphic characters can also be shapeshifters, were-creatures, etc. The shortened word anthro' is typically used to describe comics with such characters.
