Another Fine Ness is a 'gag a day' comic focusing on the antics of two characters:
Ness - the one, the only, legendary Loch Ness Monster. A little silly, a little ditzy; scared of scientists and documentary cameramen; but of sweet and kind disposition, truly a monster with a heart of gold. Her best friend in the whole wide world and her partner in crime, when it comes to their daily shenanigans, is -
Goose - who basically, is a goose. Full name Barbara Leigh Van Der Gander (but don't tell Ness, she'll just start calling her Babs); smart, patient, but regardless easy to fluster as most geese are and ESPECIALLY if you call her a duck.
Done in a postmodern, post-Jungian, post-Man In They Grey Flannel Suit, minimalist style, it imitates the spare look (in both art and humor) of postwar comics of the '50's and early '60's. Think in terms of one of those strips where, you get a light chuckle -
But only after you hand the newspaper to your spouse, over breakfast, so first they can explain to you who U Thant is. Or was, or whatever.
