Cap'n is conceived, written, drawn and colored by Jeroen Jager (Netherlands, 1975). He lives and works in Groningen, the Netherlands, and works as a freelance designer and illustrator. He considers this comic a playground in which he can experiment with form and techniques.

Originally the techinical engineer of the spaceship. In a succesful attempt to finally free the spaceship from the Palmoni's residence, which inexplicably got attached to the spaceship, he had a vision. He saw, or claims he did, a part of his destiny, which led to the coming of the gang to the planet Hillcur.

== Story ==

Cap'n is into its second major story so far.
The first story started in september of 2001 and came to a close two years later. Along a long and winding road the main characters started out on earth and were caught in a power struggle in the rule over a planet called Hillcur. An evil race of people residing on the planet Hauxvall pretended to be gods and manipulated the clergy on planet Hillcur to do their bidding. The clergy being the ruling class, it was a full proof way of ruling the planet. That is, until Menno Lobez, through an incident involving a bright light and a ballpoint pen saw in a vision he was to rule the planet. The company of Cap'n set out to Hillcur. Lobez took on the role of God with the use of a powerful hat. Chaos occurred, the anger of the people from the planet Hauxvall was evoked. Cap'n is incarcerated, but manages to escape. In a confusing and incredible climax befitting this saga, Cap'n rights wrongs with the help of his mentor Charles M. Kaapjes, commander of the Holy Universal Marines.

The second story, still in progress at this moment, starts of with Cap'n having trouble with his dark side. He is unable to cope with this in his relationship with a demon by the name of Suzy. He sets out on a journey to his former mentors. At the same time a Cap'n look-a-like is on his way to the (almost entirely female) population on the planet Autybe, where he pretends to be Cap'n. He is quickly discovered an impostor. Ensign Calamanco, a stowaway on the ship that brought them to Autybe is hot on their tail, but is overcome by the powers of Autybe. Luckily Cap�n senses trouble is afoot and sets sail to Autybe. Unfortunately, Cap�ns coming to the planet increases the strength of his look-a-like and a dangerous quarrel between Autybe's ruler and him jeopardizes the planets existence.
