Plot
The human race fled to Gaia to escape the on massive destruction of the planet Earth, brought foreth by the Anit-Christ. During the massive war that took place, a huge explosion occured of unknown origin. This explosion however did not wipe out the entire population of the planet, rather it bonded it to the humans and caused a "forced" evolution. The humans of Earth gathered together and gathered what technology they could and left their home world and the war that their former Gods had place upon it and endured what is now known as the "Mass Migration" to Gaia where new live has begun, with new life, also comes new death.
This new death came in the form of disease, famine, and a new war. The war brought was foreth by the need for new power. This new power was the discovery of Mana, and engery that could be harness from the world the humans lived in to cast spell and summon creatures of the users will, and the "key". The last know remnet of the world these people left behind. The "key" had the ability to unlock the greatest power known to the cosmos. The power over man has over a god, and the power a god has over man. With this great power it was rumored to have the power to not only create a new God, but unlock the heavens itself.
As time passed, the war ended and the "key" faded from existence. Rumor were stared and legends were created. Each time the meantion of the "key" was a vauge and empty notion...Until recently the searches have become empty and worthless, but a woman stepped foreth to meet the challenge and suceeded in using the "key" to bring war and destruction to the world of Gaia...however her evil intent was crushed by a young man and that young man also with the help of the "key".
Now almost 23 years later someone else has stepped up to the challenge of finding the "key" and gaining the power of God...

Volume 1 : "Dream of Cross Guardian" [1]
The first act and introduction. Damascus, a young man on a mission, meets up with a strange girl, whom he saves from the grips of a dragon, changes his life. Upon returning to his base of operations she is assigned to him as part of his group. Together the two challenge and take on a large conglomerate known as Nano Technological Industrial, or Nano Tech Industries. This in turn sets Damascus up as a terrorist and a menace to society...
Volume 2 : "Dreaming of knowing you" [2]
The second act and First Waltz. Three years have passed since Damascus and Mai first met, and Damascus still knows very little about her and where she came from, but is determined to get her back home...However when that time comes he's not only confronted with a world of isolation but her mysterious past and finds himself in a situation that puts him out and turns him away from the woman he came to trust.
Volume 3 : "Dreams of the Unwritten ones" [3]
After having let go of Mai; Damascus' old childhood friend comes back into his life. This seemingly fate reunion comes at a rather awkward moment, as he must make a choice between his own happiness and the happiness of other. Have already made his choice Damascus begins walk down a path he feels to be the best one, but it's not one he will have to walk a lone. This, however, is cut short when Damascus falls into a deep coma and awaken a year later to a very violent and angry world, where he is the prime target for everyones hit list even his own childhood friend has turned against him. As he's awaken, he is given a new mission by an unlikely pair and sets off on the next leg of his journey. Along his way he once a gain reunited with his childhood friend and the two set of to the underwater city, Atlanta, where a large battle is taking place.

He is what is called a Dreconian, or the race of dragons. His father a pure blooded member of the race, chose to wed a Feline woman. Together they gave birth to a new future to both of their races, and the world they live in. The changing of this new world fell on the shoulders of Damascus himself. Though his not concerned will the destiny laid before him, he begins to travel this new world in search of his own freedom and adventure. In doing so he encounters and young woman, who will undoubtly change his life, and possiblely his view on this fathers past, and his own future. |
| Ae | 20 | Light brown hair, one Brown eye, and one hazel "dragon" eye | Ae is know as one of the worlds strongest oracles and also one of the youngest. She's also Damascus' other childhood friend. She is an orphan and has no last name. The Ryuuzaki family took her in at a young age as a playmate for young Damascus, during her time with him, she began to grow fond of him, like family. She enlisted herself in the Thalrulian military but was rejected because of her ties to the royal family. She instead chose to attend Eastern Sanctuary as a preistess in training, however during one of her missions of peace she was kidnapped and beaten by P.U.N.K. for her racial ethincity. She was rescued by a squire of Thalizar, home land, who goes by the name of Lich. She has been with him since, with the hope of being re-united with Damascus and Rei. |
| Reylinda "Rei" Windgate | 20 | Brown hair, punky boy clothing, | As the daughter of the Head Master and Mistress of Pacific Sanctuary, Rei too is charged with destiny of following in the foot steps of her parents, only on a different scale and degree. Rei was groomed from birth to be the next Headmistress of the Sanctuary. Rei however would have none of this. Rei is only concerned with keeping up with Damascus. She and Damascus have been together since her birth. It is said that Damascus actually went so far as to request her as his adopted sister, since he and his own siblings did not get along. Her parents laughed at his request and offered to move in with the royale family and become his personal educator until their perminate home on the Sanctuary was completed. This term lasted a total of five years spanning from his age of 8 to his age of 13. During which time Rei and Damascus had time to bond and grow together. As their time together came to a close, Rei herself requested to stay with Damascus as a member of the royale families court and hand maiden and personal protector to the queen. This was also granted and lasted for a span of 4 years of service, and education. After her term had ended she returned to her parents to attend the Sanctuaries acadamy in hopes of becoming a Cross Guard. On the eve of her graduation test, she had suddenly been reunited with Damascus after almost 2 years of no contact, after which she quickly requested to serve under his command, which had been granted without question, which she currently still serves as second in command under Mai. |
| Natsuko Boldarus | 18 | Lava red hair, brown eyes, formerly wore a priestess out fit, now days can be found wear punk dresses and skirts and sandals, | "Natsu" has been a huge annoyance to the Damascus ever since they were first introduced. Natsu is the only daughter of Buzzworthington "Buzzworth" Boldarus and Nami Ryuuzaki-Boldarus, making Nastuko first cousin, and a royal pain. Since she is the only daughter, she exhibits a very spoiled nature and tends to demand her way. Damascus however could care less and often tells her where to shove it. That doesn't mean that he won't help her...he'll just watch a little bit and then do something about it...Natsu is currently seeing a young Amazon man by the name of Dolewell, whom Damascus also dislikes greatly. The two often do not speak and are at each others throats. Dolewell absolutely refuses to follow Damascus orders, since he ranks higher than Damascus he has no real reason to however for the sake of the one he loves he does some of what he's told...to an extent. |
| Dolewell | 21 | Black hair, Industrial gothic clothing, and a ribbon to cover his eyes. | Dolewell is a male Amazon. Infact the only one born to the anyone of the breeders in over 100 years, however he is not the only male born to an Amazon woman. The Queen of the Amazons, Getsu-Ryuuzaki, was actually the first Amazonian woman to give birth to a male in 100 years. Infact she only gave birth to one male, but two and a little girl at the same time. In such tradition she was thought to be a savior to her people. Just like his two predessors his saftey to them is of the highest importance, for breeding perposes. He his thought to be the next in line for chieftan, but he turned it down in order to persue other endeavors. This decission would lead him to participate in something far greater then himself... |
| Pheobe Ryuuzaki | 16 | White hair, Glasses. Dresses like Damascus only girly | Pheobe is the only sister in his family that does not pick on Damascus constantly. Pheobe in fact looks up to her big brother. Since the brood has chosen to accept her and allow her to take the Blood trials to activate her Dragon DNA, and not Damascus, she's done everything in her power to help Damascus in his times of need. Damascus wasn't accepted because of his Mana sickness, and since of the Dreconian powers demand a huge Mana Pool to draw from, he was automatically rejected. That however did not stop him from train himself and Pheobe for it. During teh course of the trials she discovered her element, fire, and has since had a great difficulty trying to control her Mana release. Damascus has taken it upon himself to drain her access mana. This process is not painful to Pheobe, however it does cause Damascus' heart to stop and send him into a cartiac arrest, and awaken several hours later being kept alive by the mana. She has recently figured out how to channel her mana so that the "sleep" time is lessened and lessened each time. For this reason she is assigned to her brothers group, but he tends to leave her behind to keep her safe and out of his way. She's become quite good at doing reports and paper work, but he does acknowledge her skill and power and often trains with her to keep her sharp. |
| Lich | 24 | White hair with fire antlers, Blue eyes | Currently serves as a Knight of Thalizar. He is the current gaurdian of Ae. He only wishes to find his sister and will do anything to get that done. He links up with Damascus because P.U.N.K. is currently on an operation to kill him and those like him. He believes that if he travels with Damascus he will eventually meet up with he people who kidnapped his sister and learn of her where abouts. |
| Slater | 25 | Black hair, pure black shark-like eyes | Slater is a captian of a band of pirates that reside within Atlantica and the oldest member of the group. He is also the least respected, this often causes problems on the battle field. His parents are researchers that work directly for King Triton and his brother Posiden. He tends to keep to himself. Lately his only traveling compainion has been Paris, but since they don't speak to the rest of the group unless it's important very little about them is known. Slater has been know to not take orders when they are given, and has been disiplened frequently...His peers think he likes it, mostly for the attention. This hasn't been confirmed. |

| Xia-Win | 22 | Blue hair, wears whatever shows of the most skin | She was Damascus' lover. During the time that Rei were just friends, there was Xia-Win in his life to make him happy. She seemed to care more about the sex aspect of the relationship, but that wasn't really the case. She was just good at it and she took great pride in it. She also took great pride in beating Damascus in sparing. The two were almost attached at the hip. They never went anywhere with each other. All good things must come to an end, and as such did the relationship. It came down to who would be chosen to become the next Cross Knight of the Holy Vatican. However this was not to be as the night before the last round of the tournement, Damascus allowed his hormones to get the best of him and he and his opponent/girlfriend had a night of fun before the tournement and using every sexually ability she knew, Xia-Win ensured her victory by making sure that her lover would not wake up in time to make it to the tournement to face her in combat. By the time it occured to Damascus what had happened the decission had already been made and she had been Knighted. When she saw Damascus later that day, he broke up with her and vowed never to speak to her again. To this day she still carries that guilt around. She even went so far as to not wear the badge, and stripes given to her by her commanding officers and the Pope himself, claiming that she had not properly earned them. Only her partner Dolwell, Damascus and Rei are aware of the reason behind the phrase. She only wants Damascus to tell her forgave her and bring peace to her heart. Damascus however already forgave her and doesn't really see why she beats herself up so much. |

The elders prior to the changes made by the former king were infuriated that they would have submit, when the idea was to allow them to guide the younger members and allow for common exchange, however this did not occur and began an underground civil war. The name Yakuza was given to them because of their actions, and was not chosen by the members themselves. Their leader is ruthless and demands respect. The current ruling house is the only one to stand against them, and the have very little backing, but with the return of their princess and her new found friends some hope may shine their way. |
