E Motel is the story of Greg Freeman, a thirtysomething American who has come all the way to New Zealand in his search for a better life. Being an alien-human hybrid can make matters rather stressful.

Since the comic's inception in 2002, the regularity of updates has waned sharply, but in the nearly 100 strips so far, Greg has purchased a small motel in a small holiday town, been victim to a great deal of scene-setting, and at the time of writing is about to be thrown closer together with one Layla, a fellow exile and outsider who runs a dairy just up the road. --Cardboard Box 22:29, 13 Apr 2006 (PDT)
