Of Phillips

Dee Phillips hails from a slum in the kingdom of Echzeon and saw joining the military as a great means of escaping from the dead in life that being from the slums could bring. The way Phillips sees it he has spent his whole life fighting anyway so why not make a career of it and bring some sort of pride and honor to his family for once in his life.

Fighting Style

Surprisingly Phillips does have some formal training in martial arts despite where he grew up. After being cornered by a group of thugs in an alley way and fighting his way through most of them he caught the attention of an old Echzeon vet that decided to train the boy in the ways of combat. Phillip's later chose to master the chain kama due to his belief that the style required to use such a weapon mirrored his own personality more than an other weapon.
