The story rests on the border between fantasy and reality. There is a place called Fallen Angels Used Books. On the outside it is just a used book store but not everyone who enters this store is exactly what they appear.
Fallen Angels Used Books is a small bookstore in Florissant, MO, a suburb of Saint Louis. On October 7, 1985 a young, homeless girl appeared in front of the store. The story follows the lives of the people she touches and how they are suddenly and irrevocably changed by the experience.
