Invader Scurk is a webcomic hosted by Comic Genesis, about the adventures of the veteran Irken Invader, Scurk, as he travels the galaxy after being exiled by the Tallest for being too tall. The author is Gabe Altomare

Invader Scurk was originally created and hosted on Deviant Art early in 2008, and received its own subdomain under Comic Genesis in February of 2009.

Comic History

Invader Scurk, another invader sent out after the Great Assigning, is returning from his conquest of Velkriss Prime, home of the bloodthirsty lawyers. He arrives at The Massive to report to the Tallest, but upon his arrival, the Tallest notice that Scurk has grown as tall, if not taller than, as them! Since the Irken society is ruled by the tallest of their species (thus the name of "The Tallest"), chaos soon ensues. Throughout his adventures, Scurk travels through terrible danger and a web of treachery, aided by Duk and his "peculiar" SIR unit, and pursued by a host of deadly foes.

Extremely tall (by Irken standards) and well built. After spending several years subduing the blood thirsty lawyers of Velkriss Prime, Scurk not only grew taller and stronger, but more skilled in the art of speechcraft and detective work. He is extremely skilled, and is generally considered boring by his fellow invaders because he doesn't share their "stupid."

The Tallest

The Almighty Tallest, rulers of the Irken Empire.

Sometimes brutal, sometimes bumbling, Tallest Red and Tallest Purple lead the mighty irken empire. The tallest irken alive rules, but as they are both exactly the same height, they share control of the Irken military juggernaut. They have recently inaugurated operation: Impending Doom II, and it has been operating smoothly for months. The tallest, in the meantime, were enjoying sitting around, eating snacks, and being lazy, until a certain invader reported in...

Duk

Duk, Scurk's loyal companion.

Height: A head shorter than Scurk (a normal head, not one of Duk's big lunky heads) Colors: Standard Irken colors

Large (horizontally), bulky, genial, and dim witted, Duk is Scurk's loyal fan/servant. He follows Scurk around the galaxy, awestruck by his deeds of greatness and constantly looking for more members for the "Scurk Fan Club" (which currently has one member). Though the lovable oaf seems docile, it has been proven that he possesses great strength, and will not hesitate to defend his master.

SIR Unit

An advanced, customizable SIR unit, available only to veteran invaders.

Upon returning from his successful conquest of Velkriss Prime, Scurk traded in his standard issue SIR unit for an advanced, customizable veteran invader one. Unfortunately, a saboteur disabled it before it would do much of anything, and it is currently incapacitated, and in a closet somewhere.

Invader Fen

Mercenary in the employ of the Tallest. They're "dirty jobs" guy.

Height: A head and shoulders shorter than Scurk Colors: Slightly darker versions of standard Irken colors

The Invisible hand of the Tallest, Fen is a shadowy assassin that stalks the shadowed corridors of The Massive. He does all the dirty, quiet jobs that go on everyday in the running of a tyrannical military empire, from touring Irken planets to remind subjects of their loyalties to "removing" dissidents.

The flagship of the Irken armada, where the Tallest command ships. At the start of the story, it is in the process of cleaning the life from Murkia 2, a planet in the Murkien system.
