In 2003, a scant few months after I started writing and working on junkRIOT, I was sitting in my Environmental Science class half listening as my teacher droned on about conifers or some such nonsense. Of course I started to doodle. I drew a little rag doll person with a stitched up mouth. He was so cute. I named him Poppett. It kind of snowballed from there. I drew some more rag people and started planning a story. Then while surfing the web about a year later after pushing it to the side for junkRIOT I came across NJ's deviantART(I already knew her from doing some guest strips for her). In which was a picture entitled "Creepy Guy". He went with my lil universe so well! I immediately emailed her and we decided to work together on it. Thus Avernyght was born.

Avernyght info:

Avernyght is the planet on which a series of stories is being based. As far as we know the stories will all be in comic form. Not all by myself but some by NJ and other people. Writers and artists differing.

After all the information was created and put together it started getting messy and things got confusing so it had to go into a catalog that myself and NJ take care of and keep current. The catalog is available on the website.

Current Cast

Name: Poppett

         Location: Nox

         Short Bio: Poppett is a slave Daul who is fed up 
         with the oppression of the evil ruler Contessa.  
         He is more self aware than most slaves.
     

Name: Whisp

       Location: Nox

       Short Bio: Whisp is a slave who works directly as 
       attendant for Contessa.  She is close to Poppett and like 
       Poppett seems a bit different from regular slaves.

Name: Uber

       Age: 19

       Location: Refugee City

       Short Bio: Uber was a painter in the palace before 
       Contessa took over.  After the war he went into the refugee
       city where he later finds Poppett.

Name: Sollas

       Location: Nox

       Short Bio: Sollas is Poppett's master and a shopkeep 
       in the kingdom of Nox.  He is a kind Daul who takes care of
       his slave and treats him as a friend and equal.

Name: Contessa

       Location: Nox

       Short Bio: Contessa is one of the fabled Four Sisters
       who brought the Dauls to life.  She desired more power than
       she had so she overthrew all the Daul kingdoms and now rules
       over them in the castle of the largest kingdom-Nox.
