Once upon a time, there was a King who loved his Queen dearly. When fate deemed that she should die in a tragic freak accident, he turns to arcane means to regain what he has lost.
This is not a story about that king. This is the story of the priest who mucked up the ritual, the sacrifice who ran away, the mage-hunter who was supposed to get them back, and the queen who was supposed to return to life. Needless to say, things didn't turn out as anyone would expect.
