About Mari

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. Mari is a girl from Kerenia who has a HUGE crush on Elias. This crush is what leads her to hate Alexia. When Alexia enters Kerenia for the first time, Mari greats them, as she hears Elias will be there. When she sees that 'her' Elias is with a girl, she assumes that Elias is dating her, and then decides that the girl's her enemy. Even though what she believes isn't true, she refuses to believe it, and torments Alexia to no end. Mari is not her given name; it's a shortened down version of her real name. Her real name is Maria Arenes, however, she shortened it down a letter to make it less common sounding. She is also very popular with teenaged guys, and can frequently be seen on TV in interviews, or hosting special events. On TV, she pretends to be kind hearted, but Alexia doesn't buy this one bit, and hates her for pretending to be something she's not. She does anything, and EVERYTHING, to get Alexia out of the picture with Elias. She lies to Elias, disguises herself as Ikirai and badmouths Alexia.. and this is just the beginning of her tormenting.

Personality

Mari is a very possessive person. She is also very spoiled, and is used to getting her way. However, despite her true nature she pretends to be a 'good' girl, acting kind to everyone besides Alexia, and not showing any signs of her true personality to anyone besides who she hates.
