Doombees

Simply put, Doombees (or DOOMBEES in all caps, for added effect, or "Fatum Pusillus Mel Artifex" in Latin) are bees of doom. They exist purely for the sake of spreading that doom far and wide across the landscape, decimating everything around them in the coolest way possible. They are agressive, territorial, and ultimately one of the deadliest species in the known universe.
Though there are many artist's renderings of doombees, no one knows what they really look like due to the rapid doomination of all witnesses. The only way to survive a doombee attack is to not be there when it happens. The only way to be on friendly terms with a doombee is to die horribly first. The only way to kill a doombee is to wait and hope it succumbs to old age, or have War punch it into someone's face.
Beware the mighty DOOMBEES, or your doomination shall be nigh!
The Name Game
We could've been the Doombees.
During the turmoil surrounding the renaming of Keenspace, there was a vocal minority who wanted the service to be named after the deadly, but noble, doombees. Alas, their pleas were ignored and Comic Genesis was born instead. But there are still many who hope against hope that the powers that be will see the light and overturn the decision before CG and everyone on it is doomed.
The Doombee Horde
While some members of Comic Genesis hide their feelings for the majestic doombees in shame, others shout their support from the virtual rooftops! They're also ultra-fashionable, wearing their snazzy bee-striped hats while buzzing around the forums and chat. They are known to belt out "DOOMBEES!" at the slightest provocation, and they don't agree at all that this whole thing is just a tired, nonsensical in-joke that wasn't funny in the first place, so how dare you even suggest such a thing.
