Party 2001

Party 2001 was a collection of comics by several Keenspace cartoonists who thought it would be fun to celebrate the 2001 New Year by having their characters break out of their strips and get together for a holiday party.
The participants were separated into 10 groups. Within a group, each artist drew a scene or a strip including not only their own characters, but also those of the other artists in his or her group. Some groups even chose to do complete stories, with each strip being a chapter in a continuing story.
For the entire month of December, they be added pictures from different groups every day.
The concept was thought up by drollstreet and the Event site was organized and Maintained by Seven^3.

Party 2002

Screwball McGoo tried to redo the event for the 2002 New Year. It was envisioned as being a Grand Sequel but ended up being was a bit of failure due to poor planning and a late start up. Very few people joined. It hasn't been retried since.
