Pronounciation

How do you say it? Where did it come from? Is it even a real word? Why is the mean man staring at me?

To answer, there is no "right" way to pronounce the name. It originated by me hitting the keyboard randomly and forming something remotely pronounceable from what resulted. The way I pronounce it is "La-em-crawl". Another acceptable pronounciation is "Le-em-crawl", though most people just use "Lame-crawl". Also acceptable is the nickname "Laem", preferably pronounced "La-em".

Thankfully this is of little concern in a digital world. But for those rare moments when vocal communication must be made, and you don't wish to risk offending me by saying it wrong, I thankfully answer to a variety of other, easier to pronounce, names.

A Little About

Owner of I'm Always Right, a photo gag comic that centered around his and his roommates' lives. It came to him in a brilliant moment of idiocy when he thought himself equal to the actual artists on CG. Sadly, despite an almost two year run...the comic has ceased to update and is no more. Of course, it's still there on CG, but nothing new happens. He's managed to somehow cement himself into the CG community and while he's not always the most active person, he's definitely become one of them. Poor bastard can never return to society now...

His next project was a series of sci-fi writings about a character sharing the same name. The overall series titled "Laemkral: A Chronicle of Vengeance", with the various chapters/short stories also receiving descriptive titles. These chapters are further broken down into smaller parts that are uploaded as he writes. A common occurrence in the stories are cameos by Comic Genesis characters and forum personalities, recast into this new universe. For now, the series is on hiatus, and future cameos will be toned down.

Relationships

Laemkral has managed to keep his relationships few and orderly. He somehow wound up in Beth Kolter's male harem, but then again, who hasn't? Mainly his allegiances lie with Legostar as his one and only remaining lackey. Not exactly Mr. Snuggles when it comes to the ladies, he still has his rare moments. Such as at Cookouts.

A Comment on Photo Comicing

Yes, it's so a comic form. It has both pluses and minuses when compared to pen and paper or digital art. One of the major downsides is I have to deal with people, usually lots of them. My special effects are limited to what I can create with props and shoddy CGI, my available schedule for working is limited, and quite frankly the overall range for my comics is limited. I stuck to gags because they are short and easy to do. Typically, they require very little digital effects which is another major upshot. On the plus side, when I do put together a comic, it can be done from start to finish in a very rapid time. Exponentially so the larger it gets because I don't have to draw backgrounds, props, etc. that eat up time in the more conventional form.

This does result in me not being able to do many jams, which really saddens me because I'd love to participate. I want to thank people who include me anyways by drawing me in, because that means I'm not left out by virtue of my art form.
